FOREST RIVER Recalls

Jun 20, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Spirit travel trailers. The installed safety chains may not meet the actual Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the Federal Placard. This can cause the chains to fail, allowing the trailer to separate from the tow vehicle.

Jun 20, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Sabre fifth wheel recreational trailers. The exterior griddle may have been incorrectly installed, allowing the griddle to be stowed while still connected to the LPG.

Jun 20, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Wildwood and Salem travel trailer recreational trailers. The exterior transit latch on the rear patio door cannot be unlocked from inside the vehicle.

Jun 10, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Salem and Wildwood travel trailers. The side entry gate latch may become unlocked, allowing the strut to open the gate during transit.

May 09, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Cherokee ACKT271RK travel trailers. These vehicles may not have an emergency exit window installed.

May 02, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Campsite Reserve travel trailers. The solar controller may be wired incorrectly without over current circuit protection.

Apr 25, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Stealth and XLR fifth wheel travel trailers. The front exterior accent lamp wire may not have proper over current circuit protection.

Apr 18, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Forest River Aurora and Coachmen Catalina travel trailers. Please see the 573 report for the complete list of model numbers. The front exterior accent lights, awning, and auto-leveling system may be incorrectly wired and not have proper over current circuit protection.

Apr 14, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Catalina, Forest River Aurora, Cascade, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Sandpiper, Sierra, 2025 Campsite Reserve, Impression, Pause, Puma, Sabre, Salem, Vengeance, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Mar 14, 2025 – Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Nightfall travel trailers and XLR Toy Hauler fifth wheel trailers. The breakaway switch may be incorrectly wired and fail to activate the trailer brakes during an emergency.
