INTERNATIONAL HV Recalls

Aug 06, 2026 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2027 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH trucks. A retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen, causing both windshield wipers to disconnect from the motor.

Jul 16, 2026 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2021, 2023-2027 MV, and 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The battery interconnect cable may contact the auxiliary stud and hold down bracket, causing a short circuit.

Jun 11, 2026 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The service brake may take longer than expected to release. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

Nov 25, 2025 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2016 7600, 2016-2023 Lonestar, 2018 8600, 2018-2023 LT, 2021-2026 MV, 2022-2023 RH, 2023-2026 HX, and 2025-2026 HV vehicles. Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Apr 24, 2025 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2025-2026 HV, HX, LT, MV, RH, and 2025 EMV vehicles. The linkage that connects the right-side wiper arm to the motor may separate, causing the wipers to fail.

Mar 21, 2025 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2024 HV, 2020-2025 MV, and 2019 Workstar 7400 trucks. The caliper may contact a suspension spring or axle U-bolt and prevent the outer brake pad from functioning.

Oct 31, 2024 – International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Lonestar, 2021-2025 RH, HV, MV, LT, HX, and 2022 PROSTAR vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU). Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Jul 25, 2024 – Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles. The tie rod assemblies may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure.
