ISUZU Recalls

Aug 06, 2026 – US Truck Body Co., Inc. (US Truck Body) is recalling certain 2025 Isuzu NPR HD vehicles equipped with Waltco MDV series liftgates. The deck pins may break, causing the liftgate platform to fall.

Apr 01, 2026 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2025-2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 5500XD, 4500XD, Isuzu NRR, NPR HD, NPR XD, 2025-2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 4500HD, and Isuzu NRR EV vehicles. The chassis and/or cab wire harnesses may chafe against metal components, leading to harness failure.

Oct 22, 2025 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD, 2018-2026 Chevrolet 6500XD, and Isuzu FTR vehicles. The axle stabilizer bracket bolts may crack and break, allowing the bracket to detach from the vehicle.

Sep 19, 2025 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, Isuzu FTR, Chevrolet 6500XD, and 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD vehicles. The fuel heater may overheat, melting the casing and allowing fuel to leak into the electrical connector.

May 16, 2025 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2025 NRR-EV vehicles. A gap between the bus bar and connection terminal may cause the system to overheat and turn off the drive motor.

Apr 28, 2025 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2025 NRR EV trucks. Due to a mix of incompatible coolants, debris may build up in the cooling system, causing the cooling pump to fail.

Jun 21, 2024 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2025 FTR vehicles. The tie rod assemblies may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure.

Feb 28, 2024 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2019-2024 FTR, 2020-2024 Chevrolet LCF 6500XD, 2022-2024 FVR, and 2023-2024 Chevrolet LCF 7500XD vehicles equipped with a Mobileye Collision Warning System. The Mobileye camera cable may have been routed improperly, which can result in wiring damage and an overloaded electrical circuit.

Aug 10, 2023 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2023-2024 NPR Gas, NPR HD Gas, 2024 NQR Gas, NRR Gas, 2023-2024 Chevrolet LCF 3500HG, Chevrolet LCF 4500HG, 2024 Chevrolet LCF 5500HG, and Chevrolet LCF 5500XG vehicles. The chassis harness may have an incorrectly sized wire seal for the 2 externally mounted engine ignition coil pack fuse holders, which can allow water intrusion and cause the fuses to corrode.

Jan 23, 2023 – Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Isuzu NQR, NRR, 2022 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward (LCF) 5500HD, 2022-2023 Chevrolet LCF 5500XD, and 2023 Hino S52 vehicles. When the vehicles were modified to extend the frame to a 200-inch or 212-inch wheelbase, the ABS module and if equipped, optional ADAS Camera, were not recalibrated to account for the stretched frame.
