TEREX ADVANCE Recalls

Feb 13, 2025 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2024 Commander vehicles equipped with Meritor MX-23-810 axles. The front axle may have an incorrect thrust bearing installed.

Apr 04, 2024 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2023 Commander vehicles equipped with Composilite SC20 Lift Axles. The bearing journals may not be fully seated in the steering knuckle assemblies, preventing the proper installation of the wheel end hub assemblies.

Jan 25, 2024 – Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2023 Optima-TC55, Optima-HRX50, Optima-HRX55, and XT Pro vehicles. The boom rotation bearing bolts may not be tightened properly.

Jan 04, 2024 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Commander, Charger, and 2023 MM300 concrete mixer trucks. The bolts connecting the drum to the drum drive plate may loosen, resulting in the drum separating from vehicle.

Mar 08, 2023 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Front Discharge Mixer Commander and Charger vehicles. Improper installation or tightening of the steering shaft may cause it to come loose from the steering column and result in a loss of steering control.

Mar 07, 2023 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 Front Discharge Mixer Commander vehicles. The front-drive steer axle fasteners may not have been tightened sufficiently and could come loose, resulting in a complete separation of the axle assembly joints.

Aug 04, 2022 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 Front Discharge Mixer Commander vehicles equipped with Cummins diesel engines. The engine control module (ECM) may experience an internal short-circuit, which can result in an unexpected engine shut down.

Dec 16, 2021 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2016-2022 Front Discharge Mixer trucks. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high pressure fuel leak.

Jun 17, 2021 – Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2021 Front Discharge Mixer Commanders & Chargers. The shaft key for the chute swing motor was not installed properly, which could result in unintentional chute movement.

Jan 17, 2020 – Terex Advance Mixer (Terex) is recalling certain 2020 FDC300, FD4000, FD5000GL, and FD7000B vehicles. The axle output shafts were incorrectly heat treated, possibly causing them to fracture.
