  • 2017 HONDA CR-V
    - Moorhead, MN

While sitting with engine running all warning messages start to scroll through including warning dash lights. This occurs periodically may stop randomly a day or two later. No codes display when checked. Noticed multiple incidents of this have been reported with no specific solution. Individuals seem to have spent thousands trying to fix without a specific solution. Less than 95k miles always serviced at dealers. Extremely frustrating concerned that at some point this could result in a failure posing a personal/physical safety issue.

  • 2026 HYUNDAI PALISADE
    - Albuquerque, NM

On September 15, 2026, my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy would not start and could not be driven. AAA responded, tested the 12-volt battery, and advised me that it had a bad battery cell. The vehicle was towed to Larry H. Miller Southwest Hyundai Albuquerque for diagnosis and repair. A service representative later told me that a parasitic electrical drain or malfunctioning component may have depleted the battery, but I have not received a written diagnosis confirming the cause. As of September 28, the vehicle remains at the dealership and has not been repaired or returned to me. I have also experienced two seat-related safety concerns. The driver’s seat moves backward automatically and presses into the second-row captain’s seat area where my child’s rear-facing car seat is installed. This movement pushes the child’s head forward. In addition, the second-row seat controls sometimes do not respond when pressed, or the seat moves in the opposite direction from the one selected. I am concerned about my child’s safety from the seat movement and about being stranded with my three children if the vehicle fails to start again. I am reporting the conditions I observed. Hyundai has not provided me with a diagnosis explaining the no-start failure or the seat behavior.

Toyota seems in no hurry to resolve the engine issue. Now they are not wanting to replace these engines as first promised.. What happens where there is a catastrophic failure later on. Dealerships are no help. When were they made aware of the engine issue and continue to sell these trucks. We as truck owners need someone to be our voice.

Truck has airbag service issues since day 1. I’ve taken to the dealership and they can’t find any issues even though the service safety system continues to appear. Ac issues and charging issues as well. I’ve attached documentation.

  • 2024 NISSAN SENTRA
    - Los Angeles, CA

The communication quality with the infotainment system does not work properly. Whenever you try to use Siri the audio cuts out and sounds distorted. This also happens during phone calls and it is a two way problem. You sound distorted to the person you’re calling and they also sound distorted to you. This problem happens with both wireless and wired connections as well as with and without Android Auto and CarPlay. This poses a serious and dangerous communication risk, especially during an emergency when you might need to call authorities or assistance. You would be required to manually disconnect your device’s connection from your car while driving which is both illegal and dangerous to perform during an emergency. This problem seems to be common amongst other drivers with the same car generation. The only fix that the dealership has proposed is to pay to update or to pay for a new system.

  • 2017 HONDA CIVIC
    - NEWBERRY, FL

I was sitting in my car with it turned off. About 1.5 minutes after it being off the electric parking brake engaged, which is not normal and I wasn’t parked on a hill. I turned on my car after hearing the E-brake engage. The dash board showed “Electric Parking Brake Problem” & the E-Brake dashboard display was flashing as well(I have a video but video is not an option for uploading). The alert magically disappeared as well.

  • 2019 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA
    - Sarasota, FL

The panoramic sunroof glass shattered spontaneously while driving. I was accelerating onto the highway from an on-ramp at approximately 50 to 60 mph. There were no vehicles in front of me and the highway was empty, so nothing could have struck the glass. I heard a loud bang similar to a gunshot, looked up, and saw a hole covering roughly 20% of the sunroof panel with cracks spreading across the rest of the glass. I pulled over to the right shoulder and inspected it from outside. The glass at the break was bent upward and outward, indicating the failure came from inside the panel and not from an external impact. I removed the larger loose pieces for safety and taped over the roof before continuing. Safety risk: The sudden loud explosion at highway speed was startling and could have caused me to swerve or brake suddenly in traffic. Loose tempered glass fragments at speed pose a risk to occupants and to vehicles behind me. Luckily my shade panel was up and no glass fall on me and my passengers. No warning lights, messages, or prior symptoms. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by a dealer, the manufacturer, or insurance. Photos were taken before any glass was removed, and glass fragments have been retained and are available for inspection.

  • 2007 HYUNDAI AZERA
    - Ogden, UT

My 2007 Hyundai Azera is subject to NHTSA Recall 18V026 (Hyundai Safety Recall Campaign 172) for water intrusion into the ABS control module causing electrical short circuits and fire risk. The recall remedy — installation of a relay to cut power to the ABS module when the ignition is off — was completed on my vehicle. Despite the completed remedy, the ABS module shorted and failed. At the diagnosing dealer (Hyundai of Ogden, Ogden, UT), technicians found a blown 20A ABS fuse and no communication with the module; when a replacement fuse was installed, the ABS module immediately began smoking. The technician documented water intrusion into the module as the cause — the same failure mode the recall addressed — and noted no outside cause. This occurred with the vehicle powered, a condition the relay remedy does not mitigate. Hyundai Motor America initially approved a 100% goodwill replacement of the module (dealer estimate $5,531.29) but later declined because the part is discontinued and cannot be sourced. The vehicle currently has no functioning ABS. I am filing because the recall remedy did not prevent the recalled defect from recurring: the water intrusion and short-circuit failure occurred on a vehicle that received the remedy. The relay only addresses key-off fire risk; it does not prevent module failure or the associated risk while the vehicle is powered. No injuries occurred.

  • 2021 MAZDA MAZDA3
    - Tigard, OR

Making sharp right turn out of parking lot under hard acceleration, car suddenly made terrible grinding sound that shook the whole car. Continued driving, within another quarter mile the whole car started shaking again with loud noise. Had car towed to Mazda where they discovered that the rear differential had failed. Rear differential replaced under warranty. Noticed faint high pitched sound coming from rear in months leading up to incident. Had differential and transfer case fluid changed less than 1000 miles and 1 month before incident making me wonder if fluid was underfilled/wrong fluid used or the diff was just bad.
