BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/L ALENZA TIRES Complaints

Tire size P255/55R20. I purchased 4 new tires February 2023 from Jim Dobson Ford in Winamac, In. I've taken my car back there at least 4 if not 5 times because of vibration. I finally took my car to a different facility and they showed me where 2 of my tires that was in the rear are separating and need replaced. I feel these tires was defective from the start, my car was like riding on air before I purchased these tires. They was supposed to be a 65,000 mile tire, they have 40,000 miles on them. I tired to utilize the warranty but the manager at Jim Dobson will not file warranty on them because he said Bridgestone will not honor warranty. These tires are a safety hazard, I have parked my car until I can get different tires put on them

275 55r20 Sidewalls are separating like dryrotted. Bad and severe problems and have been reported to Bridgestone warranty and recall department with no actio taken at this time.

235/65/R17 Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus Right Passenger Tire Saturday, [XXX] approx [XXX] with 6 people (4 were children in carseats) in the vehicle traveling North on [XXX] between exits [XXX] and [XXX] in Middle Lane. Traveling at a speed of 65mph. Driver pulled over safely to shoulder because the 2013 Honda Odyssey Minivan made a loud flapping sound on right rear of vehicle. Driver got out to check and returned to car saying tire had a blowout. With hazard lights flashing driving in slow lane we exited freeway and pulled into the Safeway parking lot to access the damage. A large strip of tire on the inside was hanging off the tire as the tread had separated from the main part of the tire. Driver changed the tire to the donut. Damaged tire was placed in a bag in the rear well of the trunk. Photos were taken of faulty damaged tire. The tire had peeled an inner section of tread off the tire with no warning. America's Tire Rep in Turlock, CA today; August 25, 2025 stated the damaged tire should have blown completely causing more damage and possible injuries. BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/L ALENZA 275/55R20 Tire sustained rapid and 100% complete airloss while driving on the highway. There were no warnings received via the vehicle tire pressure monitor system until over an hour later after the faulty tire had been changed. This is a brand new vehicle which I had only been driving for a couple of weeks. Personally only contributing to a couple hundred miles on the vehicle. There is no damage to the tire such as a puncture or foreign object. There had been no event leading up to this such as a pothole, a curb, etc.. There are multiple visible indents along the sidewall of the tire. The tire was inspected and viewed in person by roadside assistance technician as well as one dealership manager in addition to photos that were sent to home dealership and observed by manager and service manager.

Bridgestone Dueler H/L P275/60R20 Alenza had a slow leak for about a year that I couldn't find. Today the sidewall completely brew out on the highway at 70 mph. There was no curb rash or noticeable physical damage anywhere on the sidewall prior to the sidewall failure.

The contact stated that while inspecting the tires, he noticed that the front and rear driver's side tires sidewalls were dry rotted. The dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tires were the original tires. The tires were not replaced. The tire and vehicle failure mileage were approximately 15,000.

P275/50R2i bought this car new after 18000 miles my 2 back tires getting flat dealer did not help and it end I paid $950 from my pocket it was bad idea about Mercedes then in 2023 my front tires getting bad too my car was 26000 miles and it end with replacing my front tire and my rear tires because rear tires getting bad again and I paid from my pocket again on discount tire store on Orland Park dealer refuse to help it’s very bad experience if anyone know how I can get help let me know please I paid $2100 dollars from my pocket on new car value $72000 bad tire Bridgestone Allianz arena run flat no warranty and manufacturer refused to help to now I have michelin tire hope nothing happened

Purchased the tires on 10-25-2021 and with only 16,000 miles on the 4 new tires; we have non-normal cracking on the side of the Thread. These tires are only 3 years old. P275/55r20 We are contacting the tire manufacturer and also the tire service center for help under the 60,000 mile warranty. Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3. The tires should not be cracking for any reason and should not be cracking due to dry rot or stress on the tire. Used on a 2018 GMC 1500 Serria.

The contact stated that within the first 6 months of purchasing the vehicle, the tire tread was extremely low. The vehicle was taken in for routine maintenance and the contact was informed that the vehicle needed new tires. The tires were replaced, however, the failure recurred 3 months later, and three tires were replaced. The failure recurred several times and 12 tires were replaced within less than 2 years. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was stated that there was no known failure found. The contact stated that the tread was worn from the inside of the tire on the rear tires. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 11,473. My new 2022 Jeep Wrangler was shipped with 20 inch Bridgestone Dueller tires. These tires caused severe front end shake and vibration to the point of losing control of my vehicle at approx 60 MPH on several occasions. I brought my Jeep to the Dealer where it was purchased and was told this was a known problem with these tires.Further I was told the ONLY solution was to replace the factory tires with Wrangler KO2’s or another similar tire with more than 4 ply tires like the Dueller. The dealer said Jeep knows it is a problem but would not pay to solve the problem. These new tires were installed and the problem was resolved and cost nearly $1,700. Jeep blames Bridgestone yet it is a known problem and new Jeeps are still being sold with these tires. Jeep factory wrote it was my problem. I have an email from them telling me these details.
