I bought a new 2026 Subaru Outback Limited XT which came with Bridgestone ECOPIA H/L 422 Plus 225/55R19 99H. Went on a trip and noticed when going 60mph and above a low humming noise and felt a vibration in the steering wheel and floor. This happens on all road surfaces, concrete, blacktop etc. Took car to the dealer, they drove it and confirmed what I was noticing, after doing a road force balance they said all (4) tires were "quote" way out of spec. They did what they could to help with the vibration, they said it's better but after driving it home it's not better by much. The service rep said this was becoming a common complaint with these Bridgestone tires. They told me Subaru is a where of the problem and they were expecting to see a TSB in the coming weeks. It's been almost a month now and no word yet about what Subaru is going to do about this issue

Tire size is P235/65R18 I purchased these tires in December of 2024. I am concerned that these tires were built without the correct compound to be qualified as an all-season. I have never had tires this bad in snow, even though they are all season brand-new tires with full tread. I immediately bought a set of snow tires for the vehicle. I again tried these tires in snow in November of 2025 after they had roughly 10,000 miles on them, and again found them to be the worst tires in snow that I have ever driven. I am concerned these were a mis-build.

The tire (Bridgestone Ecopia 422 Plus 235/55R 20 102V M+S) failed within seconds while driving on the highway at 70 MPH. Luckily I did not lose control and was able to steer the car from the middle lane to the birm thanks to the semi driver on my right who allowed us to get off the road quickly. There was almost no rubber remaining on the rim and the tire pressure sensor was gone. The tow truck driver and NTB tire technician said the tire appeared to have failed due to delamination of the steel belt. Subsequent searches on the internet seem to support belt failure as the cause of the rapid loss of the tire. Walmart has refunded the cost of the failed tire. Bridestone is being less than helpful relative to the remaining three tires, which have less than 2,000 miles on them.

235/60/R18 103H These Tires came on my new 2024 Honda CRV (OEM TIRES) and needed to be replaced at 38,000 miles. The tread wear on these 70,000 mile rated premium tire was unacceptable. I did all the recommended rotations, wheel alignments and pressure checks throughout.

I went to Firestone in 2023 about my tire recalled and they claimed there was no recalled. I went again on July 5th, 2025 to changed all my tires but three of them were the tire mentioned. I provided documentation but the agent refused any recalled. Today July 22 , the manager Jason C told me tire recalled only last 6 months and he looked at the recall but per him is not applicable because I used the tire. I was expecting free replacement of 3 tires but they refused or willing to made an adjustment. I'm looking to see if the comment from the manager were correct or not. The firestone location is on address: 777 Middletown Blvd, Langhorne, PA 19047-1823 phone 215-792-6901. If the firestone agent in 2023 told me there is no recall even with documentation and once again in July 2025 I was told the same thing .I will use the tires but during all this time I experience holes, changed valves and replacement one but it costed me money. 225 55/R19. New 2024 Toyota Venza (purchased XXX) with under 4k miles when tire blew out. Was driving the speed of traffic eastbound on [XXX] near [XXX] merge just east of Des Moines in heavy, heavy semi traffic when tire went flat. I had been driving for several hours since my previous stop and was in the far left lane when noise a loss of control made me pull off the road. I have pictures & a video that appears to show a tire defect. Neither Toyota and Bridgestone paid for my replacement tire, nor admit to a defective tire. I am concerned my other factory installed tires are also defective, and neither company are interested in my pics/video. Since I already purchased a replacement tire, they have no interest in my concerns. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
