2015 AUDI S3- Phoenix, AZ
A non-serviceable, faulty rollover valve inside the gas tank is causing the vehicle to leak fuel (also fails to contain fuel in the event of a rollover - exacerbating fire hazards in the event of an accident). The solution is to tear apart the entire bottom of the car to replace the entire gas tank. A $6,000 repair according to the Audi dealership - two local shops quoted $4,000. There are no warning messages. Discovered when I exited the vehicle to strong smell of gasoline as maybe a gallon had spilled outside the vehicle. Dealership was aware of the issue.

2025 AUDI Q5- Schenectady, NY, NY
On XXX at approximately 5:00 PM, my 2025 Audi Q5 (VIN: [XXX]) initiated an unprovoked forward collision warning and emergency braking intervention while I was traveling at approximately 57–58 mph on [XXX]. Road conditions were clear and dry. Weather was sunny. Adaptive Cruise Control was not activated. I was the sole occupant of the vehicle. A vehicle was making a lawful turn onto the roadway from a T-intersection. There was substantial distance between my vehicle and the turning vehicle. No collision risk existed and no evasive action was required. Despite this, the vehicle's forward collision system overrode my control and initiated emergency braking without cause. As a result of the sudden braking and the force of the seatbelt restraint during the event, I sustained abdominal pain and lower back pain that began immediately following the incident and persisted thereafter. This incident did not occur in isolation. Prior to this event, the vehicle had already exhibited a documented pattern of electronic and driver assistance system malfunctions, including intermittent check engine warnings, repeated false-positive driver assistance alerts, power liftgate malfunctions, sunroof malfunctions, and additional electronic irregularities. All of these concerns were reported to Audi Albany prior to the emergency braking event. Following a service visit, I was told nothing further could be done. The vehicle is currently at Audi Albany undergoing inspection at the request of Audi of America, including a review of the Event Data Recorder. I am filing this complaint to ensure the incident is part of the federal safety record. A driver assistance system that initiates emergency braking at highway speed without a valid hazard present, on a vehicle with a prior history of false-positive alerts, represents a safety defect that I believe warrants federal documentation and review. 2025 AUDI SQ6 E-TRON- Newton, MA
Driving home on the highway this evening, my vehicle sounded a couple of alarms and said driver assistance systems (which I wasn’t using) stopped working, and my accelerator completely stopped working. I was forced to unsafely cut across several lanes of traffic to an upcoming exit and coast until I could pull-off into a zone for “authorized vehicles only.” After coming to a complete stop, I placed the car in Park, and then shifted back into Drive, and the acceleration functionality returned. I looked for any recall notices, and I noticed that prior model years of this vehicle for 2022-2024 have had recall notices for this exact issue, and based on my experience this evening, I suspect my 2025 model year might have the same issue.

2026 AUDI Q7- naples , FL
Took my Aui Q7 in to AUDI of [XXX], on XXX for a very rough idle and surging at lights from the automatic oof/on system and the 10,000 initial service ( 8000 Mile) I was surprized when the service rep mentioned that it could be a broken motor mount as i thought it was more of a idle adjustment. They did find the driver side mount was broken and replaced it under warranty. Received the car back on the 9th, but the car was again idling very roughly, took it back immediatley. they replaced the second motor mount, under warranty. I asked why they didt replace both at the initial repoair they said it was a policy to only replace one at a time under warranty!! After receiving the car back, there is still a rough idle, transmission is out of sync, no diagnosis or adjustment for the auto/on off system at lights. Took the car back and has been at the dealer while they discuss/diagnosis with Audi technical. Several discussion with the service manager Chris Calhoun regarding these problems and resolution. Received an email 7/28/29 that the dealership wants to return the car after adjusting the transsmission, no determination of the root cause or adjustments to the auto on/off system, but i have escalated with Audi Customer Care Case#XXX.The vehichle has been in their shop for 3 weeks- 7-7 to 7/29. I am awaiting a response form their care team looking for them to repurchase the vehichle or provide a replacement as i dont feel safe or confident that the repairs were done correctly or completely. It seem that they know the issue with the motor mounts are a problem that havent been disclosed , and to have a double failure at 8000 miles seems more than bad luck. The repairs have compounded other problems, rendering a new car to a used worn car, with unresolved issues that will only require future services visits in the future , totally negating my reasons for purchasing a new car. 2019 AUDI E-TRON- Owings Mills, MD
My 2019 Audi e-tron will not charge. The charging indicator turns red after a few seconds and charging stops. The issue happens with both my home charger and Electrify America public chargers. The vehicle does not make the normal charging connection/clicking sound. This appears to be a charging system or high-voltage electrical issue. I am concerned about a potential safety defect because the vehicle cannot reliably charge and may leave the vehicle unusable. We have had a lot of heavy rain recently, and I am concerned that moisture or water intrusion may be related to the charging failure. The vehicle will not charge and the charging light turns red after a few seconds. The issue occurs with both my home charger and Electrify America chargers.

2025 AUDI Q5- Bynum, TX
I bought this car in 12/2025. After putting approximately 60 miles on the car, the onboard computer would not save the inputted data. Took back to dealership and update performed. Upon returning the car for this work, the adaptive cruise control would shut itself off on the way to the dealer. They could not replicate this issue. Since having the car for about 6 months the car has been in to the dealer approximately 7 times all for different warning lights including having the module needing to be replaced that controlled the A/C. The most recent problem is the vehicle locking up its brakes and rapidly fastening down on the seatbelt while driving stating a red danger message that flashes on the informatic screen and then disappears but will not show up on the MMI screen. This has happened twice in the last 10 days. Upon the first visit I was told that Audi has been having a lot of problems with the 2025 Q5 because of the computer. The car is currently back in the shop for continued safety components selectively turning off on their own and the car slamming on its brakes when there is no adverse event. There is supposed to be a patch coming out in Quarter 3 2026, but an actual update isn't set until 04/2027 per Audi service. I have stressed how not having these functions working correctly has made the car a hazard to drive as I never know when it will act appropriately. Also the lane departure feature does not always work appropriately and will try to hold in a improper travel and will jerk the wheel. I have completely turned that function off since it has tried to turn me into on coming traffic.

2023 AUDI Q5- Jacksonville, FL
On July 23, 2026, my 2023 Audi Q5 suddenly lost power while I was driving on the highway, with no prior symptoms before the incident. The vehicle began stuttering, entered limp mode, displayed multiple drive-system malfunction warnings, and developed a loud knocking sound from the engine area. The loss of power created a serious safety risk because the vehicle could no longer accelerate or operate normally in traffic. I pulled over as soon as it was safe, shut the vehicle off, and had it towed. The vehicle had approximately 74,945 miles at the time of the incident. An independent auto repair shop performed a diagnostic inspection and documented fault codes P030300 for a cylinder 3 misfire, P130A00 indicating cylinder 3 fuel injection had been disabled to protect the catalytic converter, and P013B00 involving the rear oxygen sensor. The technician reported severe connecting-rod knock from inside the engine block and found a large amount of metallic debris in the engine oil. The shop concluded that the engine had suffered catastrophic internal failure and required replacement. The symptoms and findings closely resemble the connecting-rod failure condition described in Audi recall 13i5 / NHTSA recall 22V753, although Audi advised that my VIN is not currently included. The vehicle is now at an authorized Audi dealership for further diagnosis. I am reporting this because the sudden loss of power and internal engine failure occurred while the vehicle was being driven and could have resulted in a crash. I request that NHTSA review whether my vehicle experienced the same or a substantially similar connecting-rod failure as the 2023 vehicles covered by recall 22V753, despite my VIN not currently being included.

2025 AUDI SQ5- Sammamish, WA
While driving in live traffic, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic and total simultaneous mechanical and electrical system failure. Without warning, the vehicle completely lost engine propulsion, braking assistance, and all dashboard displays. Concurrently, the vehicle suffered a complete blackout of all exterior safety lighting, including the brake lights and the emergency hazard flashers rendering the vehicle completely invisible to surrounding traffic. Prior to this complete shutdown, the vehicle had been brought to an authorized Audi dealership on 3 previous occasions soon after purchase for progressive electronic communication failures and transient dashboard warning lights, which the service department dismissed as false alerts and did software updates to remedy the alert. It is unclear if those really were false alerts or some precursor to this future problem. The total loss of primary propulsion combined with the complete failure of the secondary emergency backup hazard lighting created an immediate, life-threatening traffic hazard to myself, my passengers and those in vehicles and pedestrians around me. The vehicle had to be towed to an authorized Audi dealership for diagnosis.
