2024 AUDI Q5- Ames, IA
We were driving on [XXX] at the posted speed limit of 65 mph. The adaptive cruise control was activated and the predictive control turned on. We drove past a [XXX] sign and the car abruptly decreased speed down to the twenties. Had another car been following us, we could have been rear-ended. We soon encountered a speed sign posting a 65 mph limit and the car quickly accelerated to that speed. We felt totally unsafe in this surprise car behavior. This car behavior has happened on numerous occasions, as we travel that area often. We have had numerous discussions with the Audi dealership and they say that they cannot find cause/offer help with our safety issue. We have several videos documenting this safety issue. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2022 AUDI A6- Denville, NJ
Camera system does not work sometimes or only some of the cameras work sometimes. Dealer agrees there is a problem, but no fix is currently available. I have noted that other 2022 Audi A6 models have been recalled for this reason. The problem first occurred about 2 months ago. Sometimes the cameras are working and sometimes you get a black screen or a partial black screen. The problem is that when the cameras don't work, you also don't get a visual indication of cross traffic when backing out of a parking space.

2014 AUDI Q7- Gulfport, MS
Over a period of a week started to smell fuel in the cabin area. I took the vehicle to my mechanics as the closest Audi dealer in 1hr 15mins away on I-10 in mobile Alabama and I did not want to risk the drive. It turns out that the q7 has a recall for 20Z8 which is the fuel pump flange, since the mechanic I use works on Europe models and has worked on both my Audi's before I requested him to complete the job since it was a safety recall. Then I attached all the information to Audi of America stating what the issue was and why I didn't take it to Audi of mobile due to my safety I received an email back from Audi stating since I didn't take the vehicle to mobile and not to a Audi dealership they would not pay for the repairs. Due to the smell of gas and the distance I needed to travel for the repair I deemed this a safety risk for both myself and other road users. Also was not sent anything by Audi about a safety recall for either of my Audi's so how is one meant to know about these things immediately, the recall came out in 2017 this was before I bought the car

2018 AUDI SQ5- Tampa, FL
During a rainstorm, water drained from roof drains that are apparently supposed to be cleaned & maintenance done by dealership on a regular basis but were clogged due to them not being any maintenance done. Water shorted out the entire control module for the entire vehicle computer after leaking into the rear inside behind hatch where battery and electrical components are located rendering the vehicle dead and undriveable on the side of the road. By the vehicles complete electrical system being rendered dead, this puts those in risk of accidents and is not covered as a warranty item for an issue that is well known according to dealership on their entire line of SUV products for the last decade. They wanted more than the SUV was worth to replace the computer control module, body wiring harness, and drain tubes that were clogged, but stated it happens all the time and is well documented by all Audi dealerships.

2018 AUDI SQ5- Austin, TX
Oil leaking from the engine. Mechanic determined that it was the Filter Housing. They replaced the filter housing and since then, the problem is all good. I spent over $5000 to identify this problem and get it repaired.

2021 AUDI A4 ALLROAD- Potomac, MD
On several occasions while vehicle was stationary at a stoplight or moving very slowly the emergency braking system deployed, with seat belt tensioner activated and brakes applied with characteristic thunk sound. I could discern no threat at the time, but other cars were nearby. Recently, though, while in the middle of a left turn across three lanes of oncoming traffic (the nearest car was a block away) the car suddenly braked to a full stop. Nothing was behind or alongside me. It took about two seconds for the brake to release and I could accelerate forward. If there had been more traffic there could have been a front or rear collision. I took the car to the dealer who kept it all day and did nothing to it. Review of internet sites indicates that this is a not uncommon problem and that Audi has no solution. My son has 2 Audis, (SQ5s), and says this has happened to him in both of his vehicles.
