The contact had leased a 2023 Audi Q5. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, an abnormal sound like a gunshot sound was heard. The contact pulled over at the nearest exit and discovered that the rear panoramic sunroof had shattered without impact. The contact Audi New Orleans (3400 N Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70002); Audi Chattanooga (6001 International Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37421); Audi Asheville (621 Brevard Rd, Asheville, NC 28806) and was informed that the panoramic sunroof could not be replaced. The contact was referred to other independent mechanics. The contact stated that one dealer offered a temporary repair by placing tape over the sunroof; however, the tape flew off the vehicle soon after leaving the dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

Bought it new in July 2023. Have done 4300 miles. Urban roads. CV Joint front is leaking. I understand 2019/2020 had the same issues. Reporting it for your records. Will now have to go to the Audi dealers if they will cover it

There is an outstanding recall on my vehicle and Audi are not able to complete the recall for over 30 days. I am currently only able to charge the car to 70% for concern that the vehicle will catch fire. As a result the range of the vehicle has been reduced. I have contacted AudiUSA, who said it is not their issue but rather a problem with my dealer. My car's range has been reduced to 120 miles.

transmission failed after going over a small pothole at 20mph, after which engine revved up than slammed into high gear and jerked the car forward, car has been towed to dealership for inspection, transmission light came on

the vehicle was leaking gas. the vehicle rarely would start. fuses easily burn out or go bad due to possible electrical problems. now I am having to purchase maybe it is called a drive shaft? or something that makes the vehicle not go or start?? I am not a mechanic but I pay a lot of money on this vehicle every month, the repairs are extremely high and not wating to ruin my credit due to neglect part of Audi company. I will also get pictures as soon as the mechanic can get the parts and start working on the next problem.

Drivers rear wishbone control arm has a baseball seize hole corrosion. Passenger rear wishbone has surface cracks. Significant safety consern if driver rear wishbone failed while driving . Dealer recommended not to drive vehicle replacement of the component is required

On [XXX} Friday morning, I was driving at 35 mph on local road after existing from highway. Suddenly the screen displayed this message: Drive system malfunction. The car was totally broken down. I couldn't start the engine any more so I turned on hazard light and pulled over to the curb pending AAA rescue truck. Luckily it was not happened on highway. Otherwise the car could be wrecked to cause fatal accident. It was the first time since I had this brand new Audi Q7 in November 2019 running 26,600 miles. After Audi certified tech inspected, he concluded the fuel pump defective and needed to replace a new one for $3000+. 2012 Audi Q5 2.0 engine failure 72,000 miles The dealership performed a tear down of my engine and had an inspector from Audi care come to inspect the damaged engine. It was determined the tensioner /timing chain caused the engine failure. Prior to the inspection, I did research and informed the service manager at the dealership that there was a known issue regarding this exact problem. He said he would have to perform The tear down to determine the cause. He contacted me to confirm it was indeed the cause. Now after more research, I saw there was a class action lawsuit regarding this exact issue. It was settled in 20/& or 2019 , I believe I bought my car in 2020, from an Audi dealership. Who I now assume should have been aware of this known issue and class action settlement. I would like to report this past known issue to the NTSBA. I am being told I will have to pay a large amount of money after my extended warranty will only cover a portion of the repair. This was a known problem which could have put me in danger of the engine seizing will operating the vehicle.

The contact owns a 2023 Audi E-Tron GT. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V842000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
