Bought this car from a guy add said car runs great has smog, reg ,ac works great (not )my boyfriend before I could say anything gave guy money and I signed the bill of sale I said should test drive it so drove to my mechanic in vista ca and he said a German car oh boy and I said ouch so he said to bring it back by after checking it out so he could look in to it further so got in car that had spiderwebs on the motor my guy don't know much about cars so we went back and car stopped steering locked up ignition locked up car shut down in middle of busy traffic and would not turn over nothing so called my apt manager thought out of gas so he got some gas put it in and it started after 1 and a 1/2 hours got to gas station filled it up and started up and got back was scared because of this car people don't care almost got hit a few times so went back to seller gone so tried to find a number none text on face bk market place said this car has problems almost killed us just stopped and nothing worked went to Walmart to get some break fluid and coolent car hot and ac didn't work and something leaking it was brake fluid then check engine light on friend came and checked it and the little thing that hook up see what codes for diagnoses or why check engine light on was throwing codes misfire and fuel pump and more don't remember but my guy took pictures of the codes went back Monday cause got car [XXX] and the guy sent my guy a message bring it by and I'll look at it the car runs great he said master cylinder leaking coolent leaking oil was old how did this car even pass smog with it misfiring and shutting down once in street and at Walmart it just shut off now told fuel pump coil wires were cracked two relay switches were broken fixed one and car misfiring hole in the mast cylinder and fluid leaking and this seller calls him self a mechanic very sad have put over 100.00 dollars the guy fixed the ac and gave my guy 40 dollars I paid 55.00 seller their car at my mechanics. The contact owns a 2014 Audi Q7. The contact stated that there was an occasional fuel odor from the exterior of the vehicle and the driver’s side rear seat. The contact was advised by the manufacturer, that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V298000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact who is an independent mechanic discovered he could access the fuel tank through the driver’s side rear seat. In addition, the contact noticed the fuel tank had been temporarily repaired with a fuel pump flange to prevent the fuel tank from being cracked over time. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 153,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Audi Q8. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, a central locking malfunction warning sign was displayed. The contact stated that later when a rear passenger attempted to exit the vehicle, the door failed to open. The driver’s and passenger’s side rear doors failed to open. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with a failure related to Technical Service Bulletin: DTC B14FF29. The vehicle was repaired under Warranty. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred, and the dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact was informed that the vehicle was no longer under Warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that it was a known failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to have the vehicle diagnosed before any assistance would be provided. The failure mileage was approximately 9,800.

"front left" or "front right" "side marker light defective" Audi recall campaign 97CB (NHTSA campaign ID 16V642000) addresses this exact issue and applies to some affected VIN numbers but not all. It appears that this issue is happening to MANY more owners outside of the VIN numbers that qualify for the recall.

The dash board lights all came on, windows rolled down, car could not be controlled and couldn’t put the gear in park. After further research on the internet, I found that there was a recall on 288,000 Q 5s in 2021 because of this issue. Dealer said the “gateway system” that controls all the communication died and they had to replace it. I think the 2021 issue is not completely resolved.

Lane keeping assistance jerks car into turn lanes at highway speeds. Happens consistently on MN State Hwy 316. I usually disable it to prevent an accident.

Received the following warning: “front left side marker defective” yet light is still functioning. I was told there is a short in the sensor, and In order to get rid of this warning, I would be forced to replace the entire headlamp at a cost of more than $5600. Other VINs from this model have been issued a recall for this very problem, yet my VIN was not included. From my understanding, all that is needed would be a software update. Please include all q7 Audi models in this recall, as this is obviously a more widespread issue after reading the other complaints.

During a rain storm, the vehicles rear cross traffic will force the vehicle to stop when it mistakes rain for a person. We were stopped against our will for 3 minutes. Audi corporate worked with our dealership, determined it's a known issue, and determined the vehicle is safe to drive. However, a 1995 Honda Civic will allow us to reverse away from an oncoming train, but ALL the 2023 Audi Q7 potentially will force your death by train. Or in event of being attacked.

Audi of Greenville gave us a quote to replace the pods unit that is causing this code and said that the air bag could deploy at anytime. Here is the quote that was given for the PODS unit. The code that was stored in the system was B1022F0. The Occupant Sensor Control Unit suppresses the deployment of passenger air bag when the condition of the passenger seat is empty or child and child-seat. And turns on the cut-off telltale lamp when the condition of the passenger seat is child-seat and child. In the case of malfunction, the blinking of the SRS air bag warning lamp reports the malfunction to the driver and by the on board self-diagnosis system. This Occupant Sensor Control Unit classifies occupant in the passenger seat and detects electrical malfunctions in Occupant Classification System, and transmits malfunction information to air bag control unit. It is integrated into the seat sensor mat and detects the occupants with Occupant Classification System (OCS) control unit that classifies the occupants. Read more at [XXX].

Safety recall for backup camera has tried to be repaired 3 times now and not fixed.
