The contact owns a 2016 Audi A6. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle suddenly experienced a loss of motive power and stalled. During the failure, the message Electric Power Control "EPC" was displayed. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the electric wiring harness located in the engine compartment had failed due to moisture intrusion and the harness along with an internal computer needed to be replaced. No further information was available. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was 49,000.

There is a large flaw on these vehicles. The sunroof framing becomes damaged. This creates an issue of water leaking in the interior. It causes an electrical issue as well as creates a distracted driving environment. I was driving when this happened and I had to start controlling the water leaking from the roof of my vehicle. This is a large safety issue that Audi knows about and even has a technical documentation to repair this issue.

I had an accident on 4/15/2024. I blacked out and ran into an oak tree but none of my airbags deployed.

I got a malfunction alert on my dash that states " Right Side Marker Light Defective - See Owners Manual". Apparently, there is an existing recall 97CB for this item but my VIN is not listed as part of this recall. I have read several complaints that more and more Audi Q7 vehicles are being affected by this malfunction. I would like to see if my VIN can be included on the 97CB recall? Since this problem seems to be shared among tens of thousands of vehicle owners and those affected are growing in numbers. Please advise on this issue since it is a safety related matter and the repair cost from Audi are very expensive. No warning lights or fault codes. Took it to Audi of Dallas and without a code they said they couldn’t troubleshoot it. The car makes a whining noise only while under acceleration and is prominate between 20-50 mph. Also the fuel gauge (electric) does not show the correct amount of fuel. I have already ran out of fuel and it still showed 200+ miles left and the gauge was still around 1/2. Also while at the dealer they replaced my motor mounts through my extended warranty and said i needed to replace the rear shocks but it wasn’t covered (3rd party extended warranty) that i purchased from the dealer i bought the car from in Austin.

I was at a park on March 8,2024 and was parking between two cars. When I was about to press park, vehicle's accelerator self -engaged and the car took off at high speed, This resulted in a collision with a tree about 10 feet from the curb. All front airbags were deployed and the front end got damaged. Reported the incident to the dealer on March 14, 2024. Insurance company informed me that the car is total loss. The car was transferred to the insurance company for inspection and damage assessment. Auditalk was also contacted. Car was sold by insurance company as salvage.

there is side marker lights issue. it happened 2 years ago in my case, both cases left side. .Audi has previously address this recall, but did not include my VIN, and it states the SAME issue. I found that old model has same issue with recall. I searched audi owner web site, and saw there were so many owner had same problem. however, audi did not declare 2017 Q7.

While driving, the lower suspension control arm broke in half. No impact to the part, a break with no explanation. Cause the vehicle to veer to one side while the vehicle dropped in ride height causing the tire to rub on the inside of the wheel well. The damage could have caused a crash if going at a higher speed. This happened at 15 mph while increasing in speed.

I have been told that I have a fuel rail leak, which can cause a fire in the engine compartment. This is the same as NHTSA Campaign Number 19V035000, but that campaign only covers model years 2016-2018 for the Audi Q7. This same issue has surfaced with my 2019 Q7.
