2014 AUDI Q7- Blaine, WA
I am experiencing a severe oil leak between the engine and gearbox of my Audi Q7. This issue poses a safety risk due to potential engine malfunctions and accidents. Many Hello My name is [XXX] , owner of 2014 Q7 tdi. I am writing to bring to your attention a prevalent issue that has been reported by numerous Audi Q7 TDI vehicle owners, including myself. It has come to my attention, through various online forums such as AudiForum, that a significant number of Q7 TDI owners are experiencing oil leaks between the engine and gearbox. This issue poses a safety risk due to potential engine malfunctions and accidents. Many other Q7 owners have reported similar problems, and Audi America is aware of the issue. Warning signs appear when oil levels are low, indicating the need for constant oil replenishment. The component in question is available for inspection upon request. This issue not only poses a potential safety risk but also has the potential to cause significant damage to the vehicle's engine and drivetrain components. As a concerned owner, I believe it is imperative for Audi to address this issue promptly and comprehensively. Therefore, I am formally requesting that Audi initiate a recall for all affected Audi Q7 TDI vehicles to rectify the oil leak issue. I urge Audi to conduct a thorough investigation into the root cause of the problem and implement appropriate measures to remedy it, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of its customers. Please provide me with information on the formal procedure to file a request for a recall regarding this issue. Additionally, I would appreciate regular updates on the progress of this matter and any actions taken by Audi to address it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 2023 AUDI Q5- SPOKANE VALLEY, WA
Car suddenly applies brakes and sounds alarms when driving out of a sloping driveway or parking lot. It appears that the sensors point at the pavement at the inflection point of the sloped driveway/road and detects that as an obstacle. This happens regularly at certain parking lots - all the blinking and braking make it very difficult to navigate into the traffic lane safely. Audi dealership assures me this is normal. It also suddenly brakes (sometimes) and sounds alarms as I back out of my own gently sloped driveway. I am always paying attention to my surroundings and not operating a phone or doing other activities while I'm driving. There is unquestionably NO hazard or obstacle. The risk for damage to my neck is fairly low at these speeds, but when I'm backing I generally look over my shoulder, and a good jolt (even at low speeds) is pretty unpleasant and could definitely cause injury.

2023 AUDI Q5- SPOKANE VALLEY, WA
Audi pre-sense slammed on brakes on a dry empty road while I was driving between 45-50mph. Had there been a car behind me, as there usually is in this location, I would certainly have been rear-ended. As it was, my head, neck and back got a heavy jolt, and of course the whole thing distracted me from safely driving the car. I had to pull over to catch my breath (just because it was scary) and figure out how to turn the thing off for the drive home. The dealer checked the computer system and reported that there were no "faults" recorded there. In other words, the system is working "properly". Dealer cannot turn it permanently off because it's a SAFETY feature. The only way to prevent future dangerous deployments is to navigate through 3 layers of touchscreens to turn it off *each time I start the car*, but this has to be done every trip. I have had the brakes erroneously applied several times at lower speeds, one of those times (in the 2018 model) the seatbelt reeled me back into the seat squeezing my chest. Again, no obstacle or hazard of any kind was present, just the hazard of erratic and aggressive car automation.

2018 AUDI Q5- Hermantown, MN
My 2018 Q5 with around 60k miles had a rear passenger side coil spring break. There is a forum with many other people that have the exact same issue and I believe this is a defect/ faulty design as we all have had the coil break in the same location under similar low mileage. There are 5-6 people on this page alone with the same issue [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
