Starter/Generator failure. Message: "Electrical system malfunction" Car became disabled intermittently. Brought to dealer despite no service appointment available for more than a week. Dealer advised me that 7 other A6 models were in with same issue.

Accident occurred in the parking lot as I was trying to park, sudden unintended acceleration occurred that caused the car to hit the building. Neither front nor back airbags deployed, as well as the automatic emergency break of the collision safety system did not work or activated to stop the car. Both my wife and I were hospitalized. The Auto emergency system of the Audi Q5 is not reliable, and the need for recall.

2020 Audi A5 sportback SOS module malfunctioned in May 2021 and was replaced. Recall for 90t2 SOS module initiated. In June 2022, the malfunctioned occurred again. There has since been no fixes or estimated time of delivery.

The contact performed a diagnostic on the vehicle and retrieved fault codes for the temperature gauge and fuel delivery system. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or local dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The contact was made aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V781000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 122,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Audi A7. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. There were several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the safety features slowly became inoperable. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and the contact was informed that the alternator had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired because the part was on backorder. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 27,000.

Hello, I was driving down highway at 55mph when my Electric Power steering Failed suddenly. I almost crashed to the barrier as I was in the passing lane. My steering failure message popped up on my instrument cluster and steering wheel became stiff. I had my mom and niece in the vehicle with me. This vehicle could had hurt all three of us. It is difficult to turn the steering wheel now. Failure message is still active.

I have experienced twice now that water leaks from the overhead panel and flickering of the overhead lights from the water interfering with the electrical components. It begins to leak from overhead when the car is running and after it has rained. I have read reviews online that this has happened in the Audi Q3 models.

The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The generator cut off and the car coasted to a stop. The generator on these vehicles is failing on almost every single one.

The headlights in the vehicle are malfunctioning. The daytime running lights are dimming and failing. The vehicle was inspected by the dealership and they state that both headlights need to be replaced at a cost to me of $8,500, and they further claim that the issues indicates the entire headlight assembly is failing and has to be replaced. After looking at this issue online, it appears to be an extensive issue with Audi of failing LED headlights. Audi has issued recalls for some models over the same issue, but not all, and the 2017 Q7 is not part of the headlight recall. It seems clear to me that LED headlights should not fail after a few years of routine use, and it is concerning that the failure of the headlights will get worse and will likely impact the safety of the vehicle. Further, it is concerning that Audi is not willing to remedy what is a product defect in a vital car component.
