2020 AUDI Q5- Katy, TX
I have this car and it "drinks" about 300mL of coolant between 800-1000 miles. I have to add coolant once a while, but not much... Went to the dealership and they did an inspection and pressure test and came back all normal. They told me the car will use coolant during summer?! I see many other people having similar issues on the Audi Forum. Please investigate as VW tends to make poor-quality water pump and I hope it is not the engine consuming it...

2022 AUDI Q7- Glen Ridge, NJ
I'm writing you today with a MAJOR CONCERN related to the safety of the current model Audi Q7. The problem is with the left and right 2nd row belt buckles. Both are attached to a plastic fixture, sit a few inches in front of the back seat, and cannot be moved beyond a forward 45 degree angle. The position and orientation prevent you from safely/correctly installing ANY child seat using the belt path. Latch works fine but it has an upper weight limit. We took the car to the local police dept and the certified child seat expert confirmed the buckle design would NOT ALLOW US TO SAFELY INSTALL ANY FORWARD FACING CAR SEAT USING THE BELT PATH. We tried to install our Nuna Rava car seat rear facing as well - one of the safest and most expensive convertible seats available - and the buckle position prevented me from securing it properly as well. The belt kinks and the position creates a slightly forward angle from the passthrough on the seat to the buckle. Leaving way too much lateral motion. I took the car to my local Audi dealer recently and they confirmed there is no available solution from Audi. I asked the service rep to escalate this with HQ but no progress. As a result of this, we are unable to safely install ANY car seat using the belt path, FORWARD and REAR facing, on either side of the Q7 second row. Please investigate for yourself. This is serious issue. Audi needs to take action here ASAP before someone gets hurt. Thank you in advance.

2013 AUDI A8- Richmond, TX
There is an open recall: 16V619000 Which applies to a set of VIN numbers. This same issue happened on my vehicle and my VIN is not part of the recall. Other VIN numbers should be included in this recall like mine. I had to get the repaired on my own for $2500 because this recall isn’t showing up for my vin number

2015 AUDI A4- Hollywood, MD
The second (not movable) glass pane of the "panoramic sunroof" spontaneously shattered. That happened three days ago, because of the potential for water damage I need to have this repaired as soon as possible. However, until I get it repaired it is available for inspection. Apparently many Audi owners have experienced a similar phenomenon, commonly called "exploding sunroof", and other people have had the glass completely explode out. I did not have that happen but the glass did shatter entirely and completely. There was no rock or anything else that hit the sunroof as far as we know. It did leave significant cracks in the glass and I have photos of it. If the glass had completely blown out, it would have showered glass pieces into the passenger compartment. I did not involve the police or ask for a report. I will be taking the car to the Audi dealer and probably making an insurance claim because the repair will be fairly expensive. My car has always been dealer serviced on schedule. It is in excellent condition (outside of the shattered sunroof glass anyway). There were and are no warning lights or indicators related to the damaged glass.

2019 AUDI A6- Edison, NJ
Today, car showed electrical problem then leading to steering problem, transmission problem, all sensors shutting off, all thro flashing one by one alarms and messages on dash and then coming to a complete halt. It would not allow me to come out and locked me in. I could see that the locks were kicking in so took a micro second gap between unlock and auto lock to get out of the car forcefully. I have had situations when in traffic light, the car wouldn’t move back from neutral to drive unless I tried couple of times, but this was horrible incident. Now taking it to service to see what they are going to say, not always super helpful.

2018 AUDI A3- San Francisco, CA
On February 19, 2022, I drove from my home in San Francisco to the Home Depot in Colma/Daly City. This is a 7 Mile drive one way on the freeway. When I was leaving the parking lot at the Home Depot, I put the car in reverse and all of a sudden it would not move. The car stopped. I turned the ignition off. Then on. There were NO warning lights. I put the car in reverse again, and now it was bucking and stopped. It would not move. I had the car towed to my house on Saturday February 19, and again on Monday February 21 to the Audi Of San Francisco service department. The dealer told me that the problem was with the TCM (Transmission Control Module). It needed a SOFTWARE UPGRADE. Wow. This is really dangerous. Imagine if I was on the highway going 65 MPH and the TCM decided it needed a software upgrade. I am so happy I was in a parking lot. So, I always bring my car into the Audi Service department. And they NEVER upgraded the TCM software. They said it is not part of "maintenance". This is clearly Wrong! And Very dangerous. I am suprised that no on has been killed in an accident because of this. So, I paid: $250. Deductible Plus $275. Diagnostic. Plus $570. For TCM Software update ($1095. Total) Invoice/order #944256. Chris, the service advisor reported to me that Audi Of America Does NOT require or recommend Software updates to the TCM. And software updates are not part of the extended warranty. And also told me SOFTWARE is not covered under any warranty at Audi.
