2022 BUICK ENCORE GX- Woodhaven, MI
At 15,000 miles the check engine light came on while going to a store. At the store, the vehicle was put in park and tried to shut off engine. The dash said "shift to park". Took to the dealer, was told sensor went out on transmission. They said it was the electronic controle module. They didn't think that was part of the drive train warranty. When I looked online I found many other Buick owners complained of same issue. Posting online that they are slamming shifter into park up to 20 times to get sensor to register that it is in park so they can shut vehicle off. I feel it is a known buick problem and gm doesn't know how to fix so they won't issue recall. If you can't shut the vehicle off, the engine could over heat, not to mention run out of gas. And if people are slamming the shifter in and out of park to get vehicle to shut off an accident could occur in a parking lot or street if the sensor cannot read the shifters position properly. What if the sensor senses improperly on the freeway, is my vehicle going to come to a sudden stop on the freeway? General motors has let this gone on too long.

2023 BUICK ENVISION- Rio Rancho, NM
I purchased this vehicle on [XXX]. Dealership was: PM AUTO GALLERY, LLC. This vehicle had a salvaged title due to an accident several months earlier. Pablo Mazlumian is the proprietor & owner. He did disclose that this Buick Envision was salvaged, yet in good working order. He recommended getting the vehicle inspected from a independent shop prior to purchase. This was completed by CHRISTIAN BROTHERS also located in KS. There were no apparent issues found by this inspection, nor were there any disclosed issues made by Pablo. Pablo did highly recommend that I purchase a fully extended warranty through a company that he was associated with. A warrty was purchased. This vehicle was then purchased in "Good Faith", believing there no issues associated with this vehicle. In late June 2026, an idiot light on the dashboard started flashing. I contacted Pablo, who suggested calling the extended warranty company. In early July 2026, this same extended warranty company was notified. I was told to take the vehicle into any shop with a certified mechanic to complete a diagnostic testing. This cost ($140) was an out-of-pocket expense. It was determined that there was an issue with the airbag. I was told by the warranty company that it was not covered because they deemed it as a "pre-existing issue". My local Buick dealership was then contacted, where the airbag part number on this part was not designed for this Buick & could create issues, including possible fatalities. Pablo was made aware of this issue. Pablo stated that since the airbag was apparently not correct, he would accept reimbursing me for a 3rd party airbag, if I would agree in returning the current airbag back to him to use on another possible vehicle. This concerned me because of 1) Counterfeit 3rd party airbags & 2) The very strict compliance regulations in returning HAZMAT airbags that Pablo was ignoring. Pablo was told that a comparable OEM Buick airbag was needed. He refused to approve it. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF IN

The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the turbo sensor module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. 2025 BUICK ENVISION- Fort Wayne, IN
On XXX we were in the acceleration lane on XXX, merging onto the highway. When we engaged the cruise control the car rapidly accelerated up to 97 mph. We were unable to get car to slow down, or disengage the cruise for approximately 1 minute. The care ran for 97 mph for the minute or so this happened. Husband was driving and he did all we knew to do to disengage the cruise and get the car slowed down. After approximately 1 minute the car started to slow down. We immediately took the car to Kelly Chevrolet in [XXX]. We were told that General Motors usually doesn't do anything to help the consumer unless there have been 4 reported cases. (This happened one other time about 2 weeks prior, but we thought it was a fluke and didn't report it.) We had this car for 1 1/2 years with 22,000 miles. The warranty would repair, but I refused to drive it again, under the circumstances. We have since traded the car ini on another car as we couldn't drive it. 2011 BUICK ENCLAVE- Graniteville, SC
I drove to work just fine on May 19th, 2020, when I got off work around 3pm. I started the car and as I was about to pull out on Brightleaf BLVD in smithfield, NC my car just stopped. I contacted OnStar and they pulled many codes P02AD,P0300 x2, P0305 x 2 at 126,362 miles with 73% oil life remaining. I contacted by Mechanic and was able to have it towed to his show for him to inspect it and the engine was totally seized. While I did research before purchasing this car the year before (I only average about 6k miles a year) I missed that this year and several others have a known issue that the engines can grenade themselves. I called my insurance company as I had full coverage and gap coverage they denied my claim and I was stuck with 1 $10k paperweight and no vehicle to get to and from work. GM does not care about their customers and should issue a recall on this engine for this issue. While I did not have this car long I did my routine maintenance for what little I drove it and it left me high and dry with nothing to show for it.

2016 BUICK ENCLAVE- Saginaw, MI
I purchased this used 2016 Buick Enclave in July 2026. Shortly after purchase, the vehicle began repeatedly jerking and hesitating while driving. During occurrences, Traction Control/StabiliTrak warnings appeared and the vehicle experienced loss of power and difficulty accelerating normally. I reported the jerking/drivability problem to the selling dealer. On July 27, 2026, the selling dealer attempted a repair after I reported the jerking/drivability problem. Within approximately five minutes of leaving the dealership, the vehicle began jerking again. I then took the vehicle to an auto-parts store, where an OBD-II scan produced multiple diagnostic trouble codes, including P0300 engine misfire and several MAP-sensor-related codes. I have photographs documenting the scan results. The vehicle became disabled shortly thereafter and required towing. It was subsequently evaluated by an independent repair facility, where the MAP sensor was replaced. The vehicle later again experienced the jerking/loss-of-power condition and StabiliTrak/Traction Control warnings. On August 10, the vehicle became disabled again. These incidents have occurred while driving in traffic. When the condition occurs, I cannot reliably accelerate or maintain normal vehicle operation, creating a safety concern because I may be unable to move safely with surrounding traffic. The specific cause is UNKNOWN. The vehicle has been evaluated by the selling dealer and an independent repair facility and is being taken to an authorized Buick dealership for further diagnosis. The vehicle is available for inspection.

Vehicle does not recognize it is in Park even when the shifter is placed in that position. As a result, the vehicle cannot be turned off. GM has issued a technical service bulletin for this issue, but has not yet performed a recall.

2021 BUICK ENCORE GX- Cardington, OH
The Frontview camera or its software is the issue. It allows the car to drift outside of the lane on both sides of the car before warning and or pulling you back over but then it just pulls you to the other line and lets you cross it back and forth if you let it and every time crossing the line. Extremely dangerous if you don't know that it's not functioning correctly. Also her adaptive cruise control doesn't work and I know for a fact it uses the same camera to work to be able to tell when a vehicle is ahead of you which her car does show the symbol for when a car is ahead of you but it doesn't slow down her cruise control leaving a gap between the 2 cars so again if you didn't pay attention you could smash right into the car ahead of you. I took it to one Buick dealer and they said there was nothing they could do but after research I learned it can easily be reprogrammed with the right obd2 computer and either driving it to recalibrate or doing a static calibration in a shop. I do know that there are service bulletins slightly related to this.
