I would be driving then radio would blink off and the steering would lose power but the car does not shut off. Radio will come back on and then able to steer again. Ac blower is stop or get low. Lights will blink dim on dash and headlights.I took it to the shop and they can’t find the problem. The car shop googled this and a lot of Buick Veranos have this same problem but can’t find a solution. I need answers because its dangerous to drive and loose steering. Driving down the street after a short trip this morning with no one on the road in front of us the vehicle had an alert like we were about to impact someone and braked pretty hard 2x back to back with the collision alert popping up. The person behind us had to slam on their brakes and BARELY avoid hitting us. There was NOTHING in front of us. This vehicle is dangerous to everyone around us and should be taken off the road.

I have been the owner of this vehicle almost 6 months. My headlights and brake lights do not currently work because of what was diagnosed as electrical failure at the Buick dealership. There are no warranties for this issue specifically aside from the 36,000/3 year warranty which is expired. The dealership mechanics don’t know how to fix this issue and informed me it could be thousands. It poses an extreme safety risk and prevents me from being able to drive my car at any point requiring headlights. I’ve been given a warning from an officer as to my lights being out as it gets dark around 5-5:30 pm. This vehicle hasn’t been altered in any way and has all original manufacturer parts. It has not been wrecked or in any minor or major accident. I am stuck with a “LEMON” but in the state of SC my vehicle doesn’t qualify. This vehicle has 70k miles. I am the 3rd owner. Buick indicated that these model enclaves have been known to have headlight issues. I do not have an alternative vehicle. I have children. I have responsibilities. I cannot go without a safe vehicle and currently I’m unable to use my vehicle for the purpose it’s intended because of this issue. I need a replacement vehicle if this is not a repairable issue. I also cannot get new financing as this vehicle has only been financed for 6 months.

during a regular drive the check stabiltrack system message popped up on the dash in the middle circle and then the little car with the squiggly lines behind it popped up and the check engine light came on and started blinking. Immediately I noticed lack of steering control, the car's speed was accelerating and decelerating on its own, jerking and stalling also was observed. As of now the car sits in my driveway because I don't trust the safety of it. I literally feared my life was in danger driving it because of the lack of handling and the acceleration shifts that were so random. So I returned home, as I pulled into the yard the vehicle jerked hard while I was attempting turn into the driveway causing me to hit my mailbox and damaged the side fender and front bumper. no one was injured but the car was damaged as stated before and I'm scared to drive it anywhere. The unpredictable behavior displayed in the vehicle puts other drivers at risk as well because I can't control the vehicle properly. so I'm guessing all in all its a malfunction somewhere in the electrical system. I have read about recalls in my type of vehicle involving the ESC and it appears to be what is happening with mine. As of now it sits in my driveway I need a remedy and fast because that was my only source of transportation and I'm a single mother of four with a lot to take of and no way to do it.

I got the notice air bag recall and gmc said it's passenger front seat side . They said it's discontinued and Wana use another 1 and charge me 500.00 plus labor. I just paid 398.00 for them to tell me this don't think that's fair what can I do if it's a recall I paid for nothing

The display screen will glitch and completely go black while driving. I have tried turning the car off to hopefully “reset” the issue, and sometimes the entire display will not come on at all. I have taken my car in 4-5 times to my local dealership only to be blown off. Lately my headlights and taillights are going off at random times. The are a huge safety concern and it seems increasingly common for many Buick owners. The recall needs to be expanded to include my vehicle before I have an accident and I, or someone else is seriously hurt.

Dealer Jeff Wyler Chevrolet replaced car cabin battery & failed to vent battery gas hose to the vehicle exterior. Hose is laying in well of battery compartment & filling the vehicle with hydrogen gas. General Motors has been informed & car is not safe to drive. Dealer installed a date altered dead cell battery (fully documented) creating a toxic & dangerous situation with no immediate assistance to resolve or reimburse. My grandbabys car seat is located above this battery compartment & we can’t use our car. Is my car now combustible or explosive?

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection? The issue appears to be related to the auto start-stop system and/or an EVAP-related component, as the vehicle will sometimes completely shut off instead of restarting when stopped. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? When the engine shuts off, the vehicle loses all power, including steering and brake assist. This has happened at red lights, stop signs, and in school zone traffic. I have to restart the vehicle while stopped in active traffic lanes, which puts me and others at high risk of being hit. I am a single mom with 3 young children. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. A Buick dealership inspected the vehicle earlier this year. They observed the stalling issue but could not identify a single cause. They suggested possible repair attempts, but the issue has continued. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? It has only been inspected by a Buick dealership service department. No other agencies have inspected it. Were there any warning lights, messages, or other symptoms prior to the failure? When did they first appear? No warning lights or messages appeared when it first happened. The problem began before I replaced the battery, and replacing the battery did not resolve the issue. Additional Description: When I come to a stop—at red lights, stop signs, or in traffic—the vehicle’s auto start-stop system activates like normal, but instead of restarting, the engine will completely shut off. I then lose power steering and braking support and must restart the car in the middle of the roadway. It is unpredictable and unsafe. Sometimes it’s instantly but today I sat there for 15 minutes waiting. I took it straight to autozone and everything tested good.
