My service airbag light continues to come on when driving. I was told there was a recall on the airbags a few years ago, but my VIN number was not included in that recall. I purchased this car from Carmax in 2018. I was told there were no recalls on my car at time of purchase and it was not having a problem at that time. I’m not sure the exact date the problem started occurring, but I did call Carmax and gave them my VIN number and they said there were no active recalls, but there was a recall on the airbag years ago that I was unaware of.

The problematic 9 speed transmission failed at 72,000 miles on [XXX]. GM required a flush due to the significant shudder problems in the transmissions. This was performed on this vehicle at 32,000 miles. GM knows the is issues. The car brought to Gerald Jones GM in Graniteville, SC and GM/Buick customer service was contacted 5/22/26 and after. The transmission failed when traveling on busy highway in Aiken, SC on [XXX]. The money spent for these cars with failed transmission design/construction and the safety risk to all traffic must be addressed by NHTSA. GM customer is horrific in there determination to cover up this colossal issue and safety risk. No one holds them accountable. My car starting making a loud noise upon start up and continued while driving, sounded like a GoCart exhaust system and was not normal. It just sounded loud and would get louder when accelerated until the car ran for awhile. I first noticed it at about 83,500 miles. I took to the dealer for checkup at 83,950 miles when I could get an appointment. The dealer (Elco Chevrolet) confirmed the problem upon hearing and looking under the car, there is a bracket broken on the exhaust system and the catalytic converter has a hole/crack in the molding. Our safety is at risk if the exhaust with the crack would create fumes harmful when driving the car and risk of injury if the exhaust would fall off upon driving due to bracket broke. There were no warning lamps or messages from the car. I am submitting this problem as upon discussion with the dealer and investigation online about this, appears that this is a problem with GM vehicles with this make and model, Enclave and Travers, however, my year was not flagged for a recall already established. When I tried to investigate with GM they stated it was because my car was not identified likely due to parts or timing. I am asking to further investigate as there may be a problem with the design of this exhaust system that caused this issue early in the mileage of this car. Asking for further investigation into the make and model of this year for the year 2020.

Loss of acceleration due to cracked turbo boost. I guess you need a special 2019 vin # to be included in a recall. Recall for 2017 2018 and a select few 2019 very disappointed with this big repair job that is a known problem. I'm done with Buick.

The vehicle has issues with the air bags and seats. If you move the seat the airbag light comes on. There were open recalls and while the dealership says they are repaired, this is an ongoing issue and the fixes appear to only be temporary.

I was driving in heavy traffic when I got a reduced power message. There was no where for me to go to get out of the traffic. This is the second time I've had this issue. I have already replaced the entire turbo several months ago. I took it to the dealer then. They attempted to fix it with just replacing part of it. It didn't fix. The cost to fix it at the dealer was more than I could afford so I took it to a different shop. All together it cost around $2000. Now it's happening again!!

On July 23, 2026, the transmission failed. I was driving for a weekend getaway (4.5 hrs from my home) and the transmission jerked extremely hard three times and I lost control of the car. I was driving through the mountains at 8pm. The RPM was in the red zone, even though my speed was fairly low. The car would not go into Park or Reverse. I took the car to HONOR GMC for diagnostic and they told me it cost $249 for the basic check. After the basic check, and not finding the solution, it would be an additional $2500 to drop the transmission for further inspection. Prior to this, there was no indication/warning light that the transmission was failing on a 3 year old car. The transmission on a 3 year old car shouldn't fail. Can you please help me with this problem?

The mounting bracket welded to the front exhaust pipe (near the flex section) broke off due to weak factory welds. As a result tearing a hole in my exhaust pipe and potentially leading to exhaust fumes leaking into the cabin of the vehicle. In my opinion this defect should be addressed as a safety issue if not repaired.
