2018 BUICK LACROSSE- Garner, NC
The 3.6 liter engine in my 2018 Buick Lacrosse Avenir only has 53,939 when we experienced a thermostat failure. The engine temperature was dead cold, and the dual electric fans were running non-stop. When I scanned the trouble code, I found PO128 which points to a faulty thermostat. Because the thermostat is buried under the intake manifold, we had the local Buick dealership replace it at a cost of over $800.00. I don't feel that a car with so few miles should be experiencing a thermostat failure. But this seems to be a common problem with the GM 3.6 liter motor according to a number of Buick forums that I read after the problem occurred.

2016 BUICK ENCLAVE- Rougemont, NC
This recall has been open for over a year with no indication of when the repair will be made. For something like an airbag, this extended time seems unreasonable. Please "encourage" GM to make the repair parts available to its dealerships ASAP.

There was a recall for this problem but research states that my vin number did not show my car was part of this recall. WELL, IT IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AS OTHERS. Please advise as to how I can get this fixed by the dealership under a recall #15168/15U14600. There is only 18,000 miles on this car, YES eighteen thousand. This recall needs to include my vehicle. Please respond immediately.

When driving car the speedometer goes blank no way to tell how fast you are going. Police has pulled over for speeding over 15 miles the speed limit but there is no way to tell how fast you are going. Car screen where speedometer is appears as if the car was parker as it is turning off several times when the car is being driven. It has been to the shop once for a software update second time in the shop for a factory reset third time in the shop for nearly 25 days and noone tested the car to see if it was working properly. Car is having so many safety issues at this time. The dealership kicked the car out of the shop due to the demands of other cars that were sold from their dealership.
