When making left turns, vehicle's rear tire wobbles severely. When doing this, it also causes the handle bars to try and straighten out during the turn almost causing the vehicle to hit a curb or guardrail. This only happens on left turns, never on right turns. After incident, the rear tire suspension feels spongy. I have taken the vehicle back to the dealer for this issue. The had it for 5 weeks and could never reproduce the issue. I have also contacted Can Am BRP about this issue who only recommended that I take the vehicle back to the dealership.

My Ryker has developed the Yaw SAS fault codes C006C & C0063C being excessive play in steering components. It is a very wide known problem causing the trike to go into limp mode with no consumer fix without a dealer getting involved. This comes down to a poor designed bushing on the SAS sensor that fails due to turning stress on it. I am aware of the TSB 137209 which is also on my list of repairs. I have about 5600 miles on it when the trike went into limp mode leaving me with a top speed of 50 mph on the highway. This forced me to finish my 45 minute trip home at a very unsafe speed on the highway as I had no way to have it towed home> I will now have to find a way to a dealer thats over an hour away just to get a quote on the repairs as they are the only affordable way to clear the codes after repairs are done

My vehicle start to lose control when I drive around left or right corner the rear end felt like it was bucking or slipping. The VSS fault error and Limp Mode kicked in and the speed doesn't really matter once you are over 20 mph. My vehicle is at the dealership as of 8/13/23 to replace the pitman arm to see if that fix the problem. The VSS fault error happens about 4 times since I brought the vehicle.

This vehicle emits raw fuel fumes under pressure while driving and after parked for up to 45 minutes. Sometimes can her the fuel boiling in the fuel tank. If parked n a garage and any spark is near the vehicle will blow up. If parked outside the fumes are overpowering and if someone drops a cigarette nearby there will be an explosion.. I have contacted the local BRP Can A, dealer and they refuse to look at or repair due to liability concerns. I contacted BRP AND RECEIVED A CASE NUMBER 2 months ago and they have and continue to address the dangerous problem. The vehicle is a time bomb and I can not use the vehicle at all due to safety concerns.

I have a 2022 Can-Am Ryker 900 sport. when I purchased it around a week or two later, my left brake and wheel started squeaking loud. I returned it to the dealer. One of the service men said its brand new brakes and tires give it time to wear down.low brake warning came across the screen and my handlebars started feeling loose,a lot of play. I returned it again. They checked my handlebars and fixed my front truck and said my brand new brakes were fine. It wasn’t my handlebars. It was my suspension starting to malfunction making my left brake pad wear uneven low brake warning came across again. I returned it again for the recalls the service man assured me this will fix my problem. last night August 5,2023 I was out, riding with friends, proceeded into a curve, and my handlebars would not allow me to turn my wheels. My left wheel seemed as though it was trying to lock up. I could not turn the curve.it started to do what they call the Death turn. Two of my friends almost ran into the back of me because the bike slowed itself down, My check engine light started flashing VVS fault code came across the screen, I end up hitting the curb scratching my rim, and now the bike is on limp mode.

The cruise control will disconnect randomly causing sudden deceleration. Sometimes it will go off almost immediately after setting it and others it may stay engaged for several miles. It disengaging randomly is a safety issue as I’m not expecting the sudden deceleration and it could cause a vehicle that is following closely to hit me. This issue has been present since I purchased the vehicle and it has been looked at 3 times by the dealer. The first time they adjusted the brake pedal switch, the second time that switch was replaced under recall and the last time the cruise control cable was replaced.

7/1/2022 The warning came on the dash as brake failure. Towed to the dealer, RideNow PowerSports of Daytona Beach Florida , stayed with them for almost 5 months, returned on 11/23/2022. I called CanAm customer service and was given a case#02973019. I was told the brake module was replaced. On 2/16/2023 there was another warning on the dash of brake failure. Towed to dealer. On 5/21/2023 another warning on dash of brake failure. Towed to different dealer, Seminole PowerSports Sanford Florida. Still at this dealership as of 7/15/2023. Called CanAm each time to notify them of brake issue. It was elevated to their safety department to investigate with a new case#03200749. The second dealer found that the brake line was epoxied at some point not repaired. If my brakes had failed on the road I could have been injured or injured others.

During left-hand curves, even at slow controled speeds, the vehicle decreases engine power and the brakes begin to pulse. Eventually, the vehicles engine light illuminates, throws trouble codes for the VSS (VEHICLE STABILITY SYSTEM), and goes into "limp mode", which gives the vehicle a limited amout of power and speed, in order to be able to reach home or service center. Dealership techs were able to reproduce these symptoms on test rides. First attempt at repair was the changing of the YAW sensor. The second attempt of repair was a bearing and bushing replacement repair kit in the pitman arm housing of the steering system. The third attempt of repair was to reprogram the steering angle sensor. It is currently back at the dealership for the ongoing problem of power loss and braking during left hand curves. This is a hazard to the operator of the vehicle and motorists in the vicinity because the vehicle is changing speed and direction with no operator input. Research shows this to be a very common problem for owners of this vehicle, and very little knowledge of the cause or repair from the dealerships or the vehicles manufacturer. Something needs to be addressed with this issue. Quite possibly a component or system of components may need to be redesigned and recalled. A recall pertaining to a wiring harness on the front fenders of this three wheeled vehicle has been addressed and repaired. I would like for my vehicle to operate correctly, as it should with a proper and permanent solution. and hopefully this problem be eradicated from the community of owners of this vehicle.
