Car slams on brakes randomly. If the cannot sell or dealer trade these vehicles, why r they permitted to allow us to keep driving a dangerous vehicle. My Service manager is at a total loss , and this auto is dangerous.

I am not comfortable with this car, I took this car to the dealership to get fixed and checked on recalls but they could not fix the most important and most dangerous recall. They worked on recall#N252492430 and recall #N242468490 from [XXX] # [XXX] . When I got there, no one gave me an update of the car they only gave me a receipt with 3 pieces of paper and that is it. What can i do in this case? I can not drive this car knowing the brakes will go out and I might have an accident and crash. After getting the recall repaired (which I was never informed of and I had the parking brake engage as I was travelling 30 mph causing me to skid down the road) I got the vehicle back and the very next day it was the same issue and the abs and traction control light came on and it began making loud clicking noises every time I would engage the brake.

When driving during the day, specifically facing the sun, there is a glare on the windshield from the dashboard which decreases visibility. it makes it very difficult to see anything to the right of center for the driver and almost impossible for the passenger to see anything directly in front of the vehicle at times.

The right side tail signal light module needs to be replaced. I was having intermittent issues with the right turn signal, I took the car to the dealership and they told me that the module needed to be replaced. The car has been in the dealership since March 19th, more than a month ago waiting for the part. I contacted Chevrolet and they keep telling me that no ETA for part is available, and they do not provide any more details on what is causing this delay.

Windshield has terrible glare and reflects the dashboard as to limit visibility. Front collision and auto braking including rear collision and braking are a safety hazard as they create hard braking events for no reason. Car will stop sudden for no reason. These are both serious safety issues. These are problems we have had with the car since purchase and have had the dealership shop work on the problem and were told just to leave it turned off. This is not the correct way to fix a problem with a vehicle.

On April 7, 2025 while backing out of the driveway, my son's car abruptly stopped. The manhole cover at the end of our driveway triggered the emergency braking system. My head was slammed against the headrest and caused a great deal of pain in my head. On April 15, 2025, I went to Kaiser and was told that I have a concussion.

While driving the vehicle the reflection from the dashboard onto the windshield on a sunny day causes vision to be impaired to where sometimes you cannot see pedestrians or animals at certain angles. This happens constantly while day driving and increases in impaired vision depending on the direction of travel relative to the sun.

I am writing to report a serious safety concern regarding the adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert systems in my Chevrolet Blazer. These systems are malfunctioning in unpredictable and potentially dangerous ways. On multiple occasions while driving on the expressway, the adaptive cruise control has abruptly and forcefully applied the brakes without any apparent reason. There have been no vehicles directly in front of me posing an immediate threat. While there may be traffic in adjacent lanes, my lane has been clear. This sudden deceleration is alarming and dangerous, creating a significant risk of rear-end collisions from vehicles following too closely. The red lights will come on and indicate an imminent problem but it is a malfunction. The abrupt stops are frightening for all passengers, and the frequency of this occurrence is troubling though on rare occasions since I have first owned the car. I have observed similar complaints from other Blazer owners on online forums, reinforcing my concern that this is not an isolated incident. The dealer has not being able to reproduce but acknowledges that other drivers have a similar issue. Further compounding this issue is the malfunctioning rear cross-traffic alert system. While backing up at low speeds, the system will unexpectedly and forcefully engage the brakes, even when there are no vehicles present in the surrounding area. While less dangerous than the expressway issue, this erratic behavior still indicates a significant system flaw. I understand that adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert are intended as safety features, but their current malfunctioning poses a substantial safety risk. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly. I expect these features to function correctly and reliably. I request immediate action to address these defects and ensure the safety of myself and other drivers.

The signal continues to bounce back too hard after many right turns and light up my left signal about three times. Additionally, it's sometimes difficult to engage the right turn signal at all.
