NOTICED MULTIPLE TIMES THAT MY PARKING BRAKE SEEMED TO "HANG UP" WHEN RELEASED. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG . I AM AT APPROX 10,500 MILES NOW AND HAVE NO PARKING BRAKE TO HOLD MY CAR. I WAS TOLD BOTH THE INNER PADS ON BOTH SIDES FOR MY REAR BRAKES WERE GONE AND WILL NEED THE ROTORS REPLACED ALSO. HAVE YET TO HAVE BRAKES DUE TO LACK OF AVAILABLE PARTS TO REPLACED THEM. *TR

SHIFTING I THREW THE GEARS QUICKLY TO GET UP TO SPEED OF TRAFFIC. THE SHIFT LINKAGE BREAKS AND CAR IS EITHER STUCK IN GEAR OR NEUTRAL WITH NO ACCELERATION CAUSING TRAFFIC TO BREAK HEAVY OR ACCIDENT BEHIND VEHICLE. REPLACE UNDER WARRANTY WITH SIMILAR PARTS BUT STILL SAME PLASTIC ENDS AND CLIPS SHOULD ME METAL ON DRIVE LINE PARTS. *TR

I OWN A 2009 CHEVY COBALT SS/TC WITH LESS THAN 15K MILES ON IT MY REAR BRAKES HAVE BECOME COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE WITH UNUSUAL WEAR PROPERTIES TO THE INSIDE PAD. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IT HAS HAPPENED, AND THIS TIME THE PAD MATERIAL SEPARATED FROM THE BACKING PLATE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE MAKING THE CAR PULL TOWARDS THE RIGHT ANYTIME I SLOW DOWN AND LOCK THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR TIRE DESPITE HAVING ABS ANYTIME IT RAINS. *TR

SEVERE GROOVING ON REAR BRAKE ROTORS AFTER APPROXIMATELY 8,000 MILES. INBOARD BRAKE PADS ARE WEARING FASTER THAN OUTBOARDS. ALSO A NOTICEABLE GRINDING NOISE UPON APPLYING BRAKES. THIS ISSUE WAS BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF MANUFACTURER'S DEALER. I WAS INFORMED THAT THIS WAS A NORMAL CONDITION AND NO REPAIR IS NEEDED. FRONT BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS APPEAR TO BE WEARING NORMALLY. VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS 14,000 MILES AND REAR BRAKE ISSUE APPEARS TO BE BECOMING MORE SEVERE. *TR
