2019 CHEVROLET COLORADO- Eatonville , WA
COMPONENETS FAILING: Passenger side headlight and blinker keep failing. Driver side running light keeps failing to illuminate. Driver side rear brake lights keep failing. Rear passenger side reverse light and blinker failing to illuminate. SAFETY: I have no way to safely drive in the dark or daylight because the blinkers and headlight are failing to work properly. INSPECTION and CONFIRMATION: The problem keeps reproducing itself about every month or so since purchase, July 4th of 2022. The dealership has attempted to work on the problem four times already. Three times at the same dealership and once at another auto shop. The dealership is the only one that has inspected it. They have been in communication with the engineers on multiple occasions. KNOWN PARTS REPLACED AT THIS TIME: The BCM, wiring harness, fuses, and fuse box have all been replaced since September of 2022 to now, March 7 2023. WARNING MESSAGES RECIEVED: The only warning messages I have gotten are blinker failure, break light failure, head light failure.

I was stopped, and given a warning by a police officer for having no tail lights whatsoever. All other lights were functioning, and they had been fine the day before. These vehicles have four identical stop and tail lamp bulbs. I tested with my multimeter, and found that there was current at the socket. I replaced all four bulbs. Upon inspection, I determined that a SINGLE bulb of the four had a broken filament. It seems ridiculous that one bulb failing should cause the other three to go off duty. What is the point of two bulbs on each side, if they all quit when one dies?

The 7in infotainment system regularly has problems. Most of my problems occur during and after phone calls. When talking, my audio will echo me at a loud volume for a brief second and then cut out for 3-5 seconds. When it comes back the audio will not always be at the volume it was previously. Sometimes louder sometimes very quiet, either way I have no control to change it. This will regularly happen 2-5 times during a 30 min phone call. Usually when I hang up after this happens the problems will persist. Sometimes all audio goes out, sometimes I will lose the ability to control the volume, and sometimes the volume will adjust after a 5-10 second delay. The display will sometimes blackout or reset. These problems are system wide across all audio functions including FM radio, Bluetooth audio, and apple carplay. The only way to correct the issue is to pull over, turn the vehicle off, and open the door.

Every time I'm driving on highway the truck keeps vibrating and feel like its going to shut off any minute. Also when I try to pass a vehicle it takes couple seconds to responds and then I feel like the transmission kicks. I feel like chevy should do a recall to fix this popular problems. In other words the truck has problems shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. You feel a little kick/jump when you hit the gas.

I pulled off the dealer lot with 3 miles on the odometer, came to a stop sign and damn near smacked my face on the steering wheel due to a hard downshift from 2nd to 1st gear. Pulled back into the lot and was told that "I have to break it in". As I laughed in his face, I knew I messed up buying a GM product. 20 miles down the road, I start getting transmission shutter during light acceleration. Took it back to the dealer and they ended up changing the fluid. As I was coming to a stop to pull in my driveway, the transmission hard shifted and threw me past the driveway. Took it back in to hear "Yep, that is GM acceptable". I am now having transmission shutter so bad, the truck will barely accelerate at 30mph or faster. This truck is absolute junk and I tell everyone I know, not to buy a GM truck. I will never buy an American made truck until they are made in America again, as they are overpriced and don't last. I want my money back!

While driving the vehicle listed above, the steering wheel locked, causing the tires to remain stationary. The vehicle was not able to be moved until a tow truck moved the vehicle to the dealership. The vehicle is fairly new, and has approximately 40K miles.

Had my truck towed into a Chevrolet dealer to have power steering module checked since it stopped working. Dealer told me the harness was corroded and there was water build up in unit. Got a call a couple days later when it was supposed to be fixed and now the steering column needs to be replaced due to the steering shaft being rusted out.

Forward collision goes off on its own for no reason, my ac went out at 4000 miles and cemetery froze over, my rear third brake light leaked at 5 months old and ruint my headliner and they wouldn't fix it without me paying, and now I am experiencing the shudder from my transmission that appears to be a common issue with all the trucks chevy put out. I also feel as if they will find a way to not cover this as I am out of warranty
