2023 CHEVROLET EQUINOX Complaints

Fuel pump quit on 12/24/23. Dealer had vehicle four months while GM designed new pump. Notified vehicle was ready but later same day was notified the catalytic converter was bad - one ordered. Another week. Picked up vehicle mid April 24 and drove about three miles and warning light came on. Returned to dealer, mechanic made adjustments and said all fixed. Been dealing w/GM for buy back or higher trade in. Battle all the way. Bought as tow vehicle with RV. About to leave on 2 to 3,000 mile trip. Do not trust Equinox and want to return/trade for another Equinox or Blazer. Have also looked at Ford products. BTW I was in the inside lane of a busy four lane highway when this happened and speed reduced to about 5 miles per hour. People love their horns when you try to get in outside lane in heavy traffic.

My car is having serious problems regarding its touch screen. 3 times a week the screen stops working and the car audio makes an unbearable noise. It doesn't allow me to use the GPS, it doesn't allow me to take calls and it presents problems in terms of technology.

This vehicle stalled on a road blocking entrance to a People’s Gas Facility. It was towed to Webb Chevy and determined that the high pressure fuel pump failed and needs replacement. The part is unavailable

This vehicle stalled on an Expressway without any prior warning. It was taken to Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn Ill. That was [XXX]. It was determined that it needed a High pressure fuel pump. This is fleet vehicle. Driver was traveling on the freeway at approximately 70MPH. The vehicle began to slow down and warning light came on. Vehicle would not exceed 35 MPH. Diagnosis provided by Courtesy Chevy - Malfunctioning fuel pump. Part has been on back order since November 2023.Delivery of part Unknown

This is a fleet vehicle. Driver was traveling approximately 45 MPH when the vehicle began to slow down and then stall.

We bought the car in July 2023. We had it for a month then it started to smell like mildew and mold. It permeated into our clothes. We took it to the dealership and they had the car for about two months. When we got it back it smelled like strong soap, but after a week or two it started to smell again. We took it back again. This time they used Ionize. That lasted two days and it smells again.

Battery wil not charge or stay charged. Battery have been replaced twice the issue presist.

TOTAL LOSS OF BRAKES. PEDAL WENT TO FLOOR ON DOWN HILL GRADE. GOT VEHICLE STOPPED. 8600 MILES ON VEHICLE. WE ARE WAITING FOR BACK ORDERED PART. A MONTH WAIT TILL AVAILABLE.
