UNKNOWN The dashboard creates a glare on the windshield during sunny days that is almost impossible to see through.

There is excessive reflection on the windshield, especially at mid morning and mid afternoon times on sunny day. This reflection is enough that visibility is limited. I have experienced instances where vehicles pulling onto the roadway were hidden from my view by this reflection.

Sunlight reflection off the dashboard is mirrored on the windshield, badly obscuring visibility.

The dashboard glare is extremely dangerous. I can’t see people walking when I’m driving because the glare is so intense because of the dashboard.

There is a glare on the windshield from the dash. When it’s daylight, it’s difficult to see the road because the glare from the dash is so bad.

Dashboard glare when sunny. Makes it extremely difficult to look at what is in front of the vehicle. Wearing sunglasses helps but it is still a major safety concern that sunglasses are required every time I drive to just be able to look out the front windshield! Over time there will be many accidents due to the glare reducing visibility.

Polarized sunglasses can help reduce the effect of this issue, but there are many times of day when lighting conditions make it difficult to see while wearing sunglasses, but still cause the strong glare from the windshield. This issue is a common complaint of Equinox EV owners on social media.

The dashboard on the Equinox EV has a dangerous glare that can impact driving safety for several hours at a time. The glare can be so bad that you can’t see out the windshield without some sort of visual assistance like polarized sunglasses.

The glare is horrible during the daytime. The glare makes it so it can be difficult to see clearly.
