The contact's son owns a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine and “Service Vehicle" messages was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and catalytic converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. 2018 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500- WYLIE, TX
While driving my vehicle I began to notice a severe shake. Upon pulling over I found the driver rear tire tread had separated and bulged to were the inner part of tread bulged about 12 inches long and approximately 2-3 inches higher than the rest of the tread. It happened a second time to the passenger rear tire in the same manner a little over 1000 miles later. Approximately 21,000 miles. Both times the vehicle shook violently. Each instance I had to purchase a new tire out of my pocket. Lt 265/60r20

2018 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500- Slidell, LA
Goodyear Wrangler SR-A (LT265/60R-20) Experienced sudden and hard steering wheel shake at 35mph. Belt separated in tires causing bulging on the outside half of the tread on Driver Side Rear Tire. Cupping apparent prior to separation on all 4 tires. Tires were properly inflated and were still maintaining proper PSI after belt separation.
