The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that a strong fuel vapor odor was noticed inside and outside the garage where the vehicle was stored. Based on research, the contact suspected a fuel pump failure. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed with a damaged fuel pump. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 65,000.

The car will be placed in park but keeps saying shift to park. Then I have to turn the car on and off clicking the shift button till it will finally shut off. One time it took ten minutes. This needs to be a recall!!! Specifically since it seems to be affecting many of the cars!!!

fuel pump control module failed at 26000. recall number N252516900. This is a recall that other 2021 blazers have ben part of. Over 300000 recalls so far. GM says my car isn't. Ridiculous. They dont want to acknowledge their fault. I need a formal statement that this module should be recalled for my car.

XXX the car had gas, turned over, but would not start. I had it towed to a repair center who towed, did diagnostics and came up with the codes for a bad fuel pump control module. It was replaced and the car starts. There was no warning. Problem was confirmed by an independent service center. All documentation is available. The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that when shifting the gear selector into park (P), the "Shift To Park" warning message was displayed on the instrument panel, even though the vehicle was already parked. The failure was recurrent. A dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the failure was a known condition with pending repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 113,674.

All 3 bolts that connect my tailpipe underneath my car failed. This caused the tailpipe to disconnect from the car, meaning I was pushing the pipe as I drove. Luckily it failed when I was at an intersection, and I heard the noise. I was able to drive slowly into a parking lot and disconnect the exhaust for a repair. However, if I had been traveling down a highway when it occurred the pipe surely would've hit a bump and then jammed the rest of the exhaust back up into the under carriage of the vehicle and perhaps causing an accident. I did email the dealership I purchased the vehicle from, but they were unaware of an issues on the vehicle. However, from searching online, there are other 2022 Trailblazer owners experiencing the same issue. There were no warning lights before during or after.

The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 MPH with cruise control activated, the vehicle shuddered and multiple warning lights illuminated, including the check engine, check oil, fasten seatbelt, traction control, and brake warning lights. The vehicle experienced steering overcorrection and lost power. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and slowly driven to an independent mechanic shop, where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the first and second pistons and lifters needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 101,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that while reversing, the rearview camera intermittently flickered and later displayed a blank image. The message "Service Vision System" was displayed. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V212000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer and a second dealer, Chevyland (7500 Youree Dr, Shreveport, LA 71105), were made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000.

While driving, the vehicle suddenly developed a severe, loud mechanical ticking noise from the engine compartment, immediately followed by a drastic loss of engine power and violent vehicle shaking. The vehicle experienced an active cylinder misfire caused by a failure within the Active Fuel Management (AFM) system, where a cylinder deactivation lifter collapsed and became stuck.This mechanical failure creates an extreme safety hazard. The sudden drop in throttle response, engine stuttering, and loss of power impair my ability to maintain highway speeds, merge safely, or accelerate away from oncoming traffic. The engine stumbles significantly under load, risking a rear-end collision on public roads. The vehicle remains unrepaired at this time due to the catastrophic nature of the valvetrain defect and the severe risk of complete engine seizure while in motion. General Motors has failed to issue a safety recall for this known structural valvetrain defect, which poses an immediate hazard to drivers on the road.
