The AFM code p3400 was activated on the truck and the lifters went bad and caused damage to the cam shift. Lifter failure which caused fuel to shoot down exhaust and burned out the catalytic converters. Dealership wants 10k to fix not including the catalytic converters.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 from an auction. It was later discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. At the time of the purchase, the vehicle mileage was 73,672. At the time of the vehicle registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 239,567.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 at an auction. The contact stated that although the odometer indicated 89,671 miles at the time of purchase, there was a mileage discrepancy discovered during the vehicle registration. The title was marked exempt; there was no official documentation verifying the actual mileage. The discrepancy was attributed to an inoperable odometer or due to the condition of the frame of the vehicle.

The transmission of the 2021 Suburban failed. While operating the vehicle down a state highway, out of nowhere the power was reduced significantly while in traffic. It would not go over 30 MPH after forcing itself to 30 MPH while driving down the busy highway. After struggling to find a safe place to park, the vehicle would not, and still will not, go into reverse. There were no warning lights of any sort prior to this incident. Now there are several warning lights. The vehicle has been towed and taken to a repair shop with current unknown diagnostics as we are waiting our turn for the vehicle to be diagnosed. This vehicle has a transmission that is currently under Class Action for GM knowingly selling defective transmissions.

Vehicle lost all power while driving on interstate, there were no warning messages displayed. The initial recall was performed on vehicle.

Around 100,000 miles car started burning through oil. Have to check oil weekly. No warning lights come up when the oil is low. Patiently waiting for them to put a recall on it.

The inability to permanently turn on the warning only option for front and rear emergency braking after the latest OTA update. Phantom braking conditions still exist for this model and occur at unexpected times causing potential rear end collisions with following vehicles.

I am submitting this complaint to report serious, recurring, and potentially dangerous safety defects involving my 2024 Chevrolet Trax. This occurred during my daily commute at highway speeds, creating an unsafe driving condition and serious concern for vehicle reliability and safety. March 15, 2026 – Diagnostic Codes- P0521 – Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Range or Performance- P06DE – Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Stuck On Concerns include oil pressure, lubrication issues, and potential engine damage. April 27, 2026 – Second Highway Incident While driving on Route 78 after work, the vehicle experienced another failure:- Severe shaking- Check engine light- Unsafe operation Code:- P0300 – Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected GM Case Numbers:- XXX- XXX Manufacturer and Dealership Awareness: General Motors and the dealership are fully aware of these repeated issues. The special coverage program on the coolant valve for My 2021 Chevy Silverado (70,000mi) is not covered due to my vin not being on the list. Something they say and know is an issue, but not covering it for the vehicles they say they’re covering it for.

While driving at approximately 45 mph, the steering system suddenly failed without any warning. The steering wheel became extremely stiff and nearly impossible to turn, resulting in a sudden loss of control of the vehicle. I was unable to safely steer, especially when attempting to turn right, which nearly caused a crash. There were no warning lights, alerts, or prior symptoms before this failure. The issue occurred abruptly and without any indication, creating a serious and unexpected safety hazard. Due to the severity of the problem, the vehicle had to be towed and is unsafe to drive. This appears to be a failure of the electronic power steering (EPS) system. A sudden loss of steering assist at driving speed presents a significant risk of injury or death to the driver, passengers, and others on the road. This is a critical safety issue that should be investigated immediately.
