Was driving home and accelerating when there was a mechanical "thump" noise and the vehicle MIL indicator came on with a "red turtle" indicator on. Vehicle speed/performance was immediately reduced and I was not able to maintain a safe speed or have enough power to travel at appropriate speeds when hills were involved. This is the second time this has happened in this vehicle. The dealer has already looked at the vehicle prior and claimed they found the issue and resolved it. Since it occurred again the issue has clearly not been resolved or properly identified.

While driving approximately 35mph and without any warning, the vehicle suddenly slammed on the brakes and came to a stop in the middle of the road. If another vehicle had been following behind there could have been a collision. The forward collision alert might have gone off; afterwards most of the warning lights were on. We were able to slowly power through the brakes to a nearby parking lot. We could not turn off the car or put the transmission in Park or Neutral, it was completely immobilized. All of the transmission lights were on and could not be changed by turning the dial. The vehicle was towed to a dealership and has been waiting for diagnosis for over 3 weeks.

Wife was driving on the highway at highway speeds (using gas propulsion, not electric) and car shut off without warning, lost all propulsion, alerting me to "Shift to park" to start the car. No prior warnings of anything being wrong with the car. Had to pull over on the highway to stop. Took several minutes to be able to shift to park, turn the car off, and restart the car. After incident, the check engine light came on. Took the nearest dealership who advised the check engine light was off and there was nothing they could do to repair it - told us it was safe to drive. Driving car again and incident happened 2 more times within the following weeks. Again, check engine light would come on, then turn off after a couple hours. Car currently at the dealership getting a new transmission. Car had under 10k miles and was under 8 months old.

The contact owns a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled with the Check Rear Passenger's Seat message displayed. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The dealer was made aware of the failure and scheduled an upcoming appointment. The contact related the failure to the engine; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 250.

While driving on the freeway using adaptive cruise control, the display indicated that the adaptive cruise control was canceled. I did not cancel the adaptive cruise control. The vehicle decelerated and appeared to turn off completely. The gas peddle did not respond, I was unable to accelerate. The screen then displayed “push button to start”, as though the car was off. I was able to pull onto the shoulder of the freeway, toggle the car into park, and press the start button while pressing the break. Then, the screen display battery light and check engine light turned on. The display said automatic high beams disabled. The vehicle would not respond to pressing the start button while pressing the brake. Finally, I held the start button down while pressing the break for a long period of time. My seat moved back automatically like the car was turned off. I was then able to restart the car and drive to the nearest exit. This is a very dangerous problem that needs to be thoroughly investigated. I am fortunate I was able to get to the shoulder of the road without causing an accident. The vehicle is currently at the nearest dealership, we are awaiting news of the cause.

Driving on a major highway with little to no shoulder, we were accelerating up a slight incline going 65 miles per hour on a route loaded with semi trucks. As we accelerated the engine cut off taking away the ability to accelerate. We had to pull to the shoulder and the vehicle kept cycling all of its lights on and off. We were able to get the car moving again and within 5 minutes the same thing happened, engine turned off. Vehicle was towed to a Chrysler dealer, it showed 17 error codes thrown, Chrysler's policy was to reset the codes and drive 25 miles to replicate if it doesn't replicate send it home which is what they did. As our family was again on a highway accelerating the engine cut off with no ability to accelerate. We turned the vehicle off and started it again and the engine cut off leaving us to coast off the highway. Chrysler is now stating it's a software update that is needed and we are at day 4 with no car for a second time in two weeks

Uconnect system not working correctly. Cannot turn off climate control, Cannot get fire tvs to work reliably, no dvd player like we ordered, Uconnect and fire tvs cut out,Cannot change radio stations on steering wheel or volume, onily works when it wants to. Problem is when your driving on freeway and its not working it causes you to fight with it and pull over shut off the van and restart this could cause a serious accident and with kids in the van im not ok with this. This sterted the day we got it , we ordered this van in December 2021 expecting it to be just like the 2021 and its not.

Was driving down I-270 with family when the vehicle immediately registered a fault that the hood was open and unable to charge/condition battery. All engine power and speed control was lost at highway speeds and was barely able to get out of the way of traffic. I was able to coast to the shoulder without injury or accident with a few near misses. Opened / closed the hood at the side of the road and the fault didn't clear. 5-10 minutes later vehicle cleared the error and I was able to drive to a local dealership who told me "there is nothing they can do for me". The best option I had after talking with the Chrysler dealership was to to drive home praying my family didn't get stuck again.
