Driver side passenger door is stuck in locked position. Cannot manually open door. This is a huge safety risk as all rear passengers must exist passenger side rear door. I am learning that this is a very common safety issues with these vehicles and Dodge will not do anything about it. Extremely unacceptable that they will not fix it. Simply profits over people.

Cylinder misfire #2 Is a permanent code.the first time I got it fixed the car just stopped with no warning I couldn't get it to start unless the driver door was open. The shop had it for am entire month and had a new head rebuilt 2 weeks later the light was back on. It would go off and on for the next year, we changed filters, plug, gasket. After I got it inspected last year when the light turned off for a day that was the last time it was off. I haven't been able to get it inspected yet it's over due. 2019 was 5 years ago I've never had these problems with any other vehicles that's 10+ older. They need to do something they know what's going on it happened it 2012 and they discontinued the vans in 2020. They need to make it right. The engine is not safe it randomly loosed acceleration or occasionally gains it. I'm afraid of crashing into someone or being stranded somewhere or it dying in the middle of the road. I need this vehicle I'm still paying for it and don't really have other options to for other transportation while this one gets into a shop

The left front driver's power seat got stuck forward. After the seat got stuck forward, then it couldn't be moved backwards, up or down, nor can the seat be reclined forward or backwards, so it's very difficult for me to drive the car. If I were any taller than [XXX] , I would not be able to get into the front seat, and I definitely would not be able to drive it either. When I have to shift the gears back & forth between the brake pedal and the gas pedal, it hurts my Surgical leg (I had a total hip replacement nearly 6 months ago), since I have to use my right foot, causing pain to shoot all the way up my leg to my hip, and it's been hurting my back, as well. In the attached photo, it shows how far up the seat is in relation to where the steering wheel is located. I have also attached the Owner's Manual. The relevant pages regarding the front driver's power seat are between 46 & 48. When you go on YouTube, it shows that a large # of people have had this same issue. We all have came to similar conclusions: 1) Did a fuse blow? 2) Is there a short in the System? And 3) Did the Power Seat Motor stop working? Yes! But, why did it stop working? There seems to be a Manufacturing Flaw. Otherwise, this many vans would not be experiencing the same exact issue. I had the seat looked at by 210 Family Auto Mechanic. Nothing was blocking the seat underneath. The seat is not off track. And, the Power Seat Switch is still working!! My 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT check engine light went on about 6 months ago. The engine was running rough and the mechanic said it could be an issue with one of the cylinders misfiring. They replaced the spark plugs and censors and it did not solve the issue. After some online research, it sounds like there are many 2019 dodge grand caravans where cylinder 2 seizes up and stops the engine dead. This could be dangerous if it happened while driving. The van has only 96,000 miles and should not have engine issues.

Driver side passenger sliding door DOES NOT OPEN. It is not unlocking, stays in lock position. Completely unable to open the door without breaking it. HUGE safety issue with having kids being stuck in the car and not able to order the door. Seen numerous people having same issue with the latching system. No warning was given on the door not being able to work.

The door locks and right passenger sliding door has failed and continues to do so on my vehicle. There is a buzzing sound when the doors lock and although the locks go down ,the right passenger sliding door is not really locked. on at least 2 separate occasions my 4 year old grandson was able to open the door while the vehicle was in gear and moving at speed. Another occasion I was at a red light and a person was able to open the right passenger sliding door, the alarm went off and scared him and truthfully me too ,the left passenger sliding door doesn't have this problem. Because of this I am aware now if any of my doors lock ,although the buttons go down.

My 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT driver side sliding door is jammed shut and locked. I took it to 2 dealerships near me and both want almost $1000 per door to fix. The actuator is out and they said the loud noise when opening and closing the passenger side sliding door is a sign that door is also about to go out. My VIN doesn’t fall into the recalls. This seems like it is a hazard. If both doors indeed get stuck then how do you get car seats in and out? Isn’t it dangerous if other kids have to climb in and out the front doors? I’m so confused how this isn’t a recall when it will be dang near impossible to move car seats and kids through front doors or even moving 3rd row to get in and out and put back up for it to be sat in. What do you do in event of a crash if you can get kids out? Please help!
