The component or system failed or malfunctioned, is the accelerator, brakes, stirring and electrical. The car is available for inspection upon your request. The car is having problems coming to a stop and it is very difficult to control the vehicle because the steering becomes so hard when the power shuts down on the vehicle as I'm driving it. I think and believe that that poses a high risk of someone getting hurt or injured and then some cases perhaps death. the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Yes the problem hasi been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. My drivers side led headlight has only lasted 2 years. One bulb goes out and the whole assembly needs to be replaced. These led lights are supposed to last 5-10 years. I have both headlights with a single light out. Passenger side turn signal and drivers side running day time lights. The headlights mopar makes are not in par with the cost of 1,200 to replace the entire assembly for just one headlight

It is becoming increasingly difficult to shut down the car when the transmission is placed in park because the system is not recognizing the transmission is in park.

The Chapman Dodge service department has diagnosed the vehicle with an active, leaking fuel pump assembly and provided a repair estimate of $1,600.00. Stellantis Corporate has offered a "goodwill" gesture of only $200.00, leaving me with a $1,400.00 out-of-pocket bill. I have formally rejected this baseline offer. An active fuel leak on a 485-horsepower performance vehicle is an immediate, catastrophic fire hazard. A fuel pump module is a lifetime structural component—not a wear-and-tear item—and a complete material failure at 41,000 miles is an egregious manufacturing defect. Furthermore, because this vehicle is well under the 5-year/60,000-mile mark, it should be heavily considered under powertrain safety accommodations.Because an active fuel leak represents a severe risk to life and property, I cannot and will not safely drive this vehicle off their lot until it is repaired. Dodge Corporate and Chapman Dodge should not refuse to close the remaining $1,400.00 balance via manufacturer or dealership goodwill funds,

I just started having this issue 3 days ago. When I put the car in reverse it does not directly go into drive. I have to go back to park to get the car back in drive. I put a brand new transmission in this car in 2024 and since I can only drive 45 miles per hour. When the drive or reverse does not light up in green, the camera in the back does not operate or show up at all.

    - Zephyrhills , FL

On September 4, 2026, the front passenger Active Head Restraint (AHR/headrest) in my 2016 Dodge Durango unexpectedly deployed and struck my daughter in the back of the head. The vehicle was completely stationary and parked in a parking lot after leaving her doctor’s appointment. I had started the vehicle, but we remained parked talking for approximately 1–2 minutes. There was no collision, impact, sudden stop, or other event involving the vehicle. Without any warning, we heard a very loud popping/banging sound. I initially turned toward the rear of the vehicle because I thought the noise had come from behind us. My daughter, who was seated normally in the front passenger seat, then told me that something had hit her head. I saw that the passenger head restraint had suddenly sprung open/deployed. It struck the back of her head with enough force to push her head forward. There were no warning lights, messages, or other symptoms before the deployment. The vehicle had not been struck or moved when the deployment occurred. The head restraint remains in the deployed position and has not been reset or repaired. I photographed it immediately after the incident, and the vehicle/component is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by a Dodge dealer, manufacturer, insurance representative, police, or independent repair facility. This unexpected deployment put my daughter’s safety at risk because a safety restraint designed to protect an occupant during a collision instead deployed without a collision and physically struck her head. I am concerned about the potential for head or neck injury and about this occurring unexpectedly to other occupants.

    - Vancouver, WA

Good Morning There is a transmission failure - there is no fluid pressure in the transmission lines and the pump seems inoperable. There is already a recall on this issue but the vehicle I have does not fall within the guidelines - less than a year. Recall S44 - is for July 31, 2015 to April 18, 2016. But my vehicle was built on October 15, 2014 and is listed as a 2015 model. All information has been confirmed through the local Dodge dealership, a mechanic, and also through Mopar. I am requesting that the VIN to this vehicle also be added into the recall.

The contact owns a 2024 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the lower driver's side wheel well. The vehicle was immediately taken to a dealer to be diagnosed. The technician determined that the driver's side brake caliper was sticking and failed to properly retract after releasing the brake pedal and was heating due to the continuous friction. The contact stated that the brake pads and rotors were wearing prematurely, and the front brakes were not operating properly. The failure was confirmed by the dealer, and the contact was informed that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced.

  • 2005 DODGE SPRINTER 2500
    - North Highlands, CA

My 2005 Dodge Sprinter is subject to Dodge/Stellantis Recall T21 (Emissions Campaign – Reprogram Engine Control Unit (CA)). I have made repeated attempts to have T21 completed. Multiple Dodge/Stellantis service facilities I contacted do not have the required equipment to perform this campaign. The nearest facility I was able to locate with the proper equipment is in [XXX]. However, that facility is also unable to complete T21 because it cannot download/access the manufacturer-required software needed to perform the ECU reprogramming. I contacted Stellantis/Dodge Customer Care and Case # XXX was opened. Stellantis confirmed in writing that the case remains open and escalated and specifically acknowledged the “software download issue preventing completion of the recall.” During my follow-up, Stellantis stated that cases should not be suspended for more than 7-day increments and documented an urgent follow-up request. Approximately one month has now passed without an effective solution. I am ready and willing to have T21 completed, but there is currently no reasonably available facility capable of completing it. This is preventing me from completing the vehicle registration process in [XXX]. NHTSA’s VIN lookup also currently displays “0 Unrepaired Recalls” for this vehicle, while Dodge/Stellantis confirms that T21 requires completion. I am requesting that NHTSA review this discrepancy and the manufacturer’s inability to provide a workable remedy.
