replacement transmission, the car jumps when driving with a foul burning odor and it sounds like a lawnmower when taking my feet off the gas to slow the vehicle down the car speeds up, the transmission light is still on, the problem has gotten worst, the component has not been inspected, the first time the transmission light appears was on 10/7/2021, and then it was checked by a mechanic and his devise read CODE P0760 "Shift Solenoid" on my 2009 dodge journey

The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle loss motive power and stalled. The driver restarted the vehicle and continued to drive; however, the failure recurred. The driver was unable to restart the vehicle. The contact had the vehicle towed back to the residence. An independent mechanic went to the residence to inspect the vehicle. The mechanic replaced the starter and installed a new battery however, the failure recurred. The mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The contact was concerned that the failure was related to the ignition switch and the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

1- My steering started making a noise when I would make a right turn. I took it to the dealer service and they informed me that the metal battery holder completely rusted away and the battery dropped down onto the inner wheel well and when I made a turn it would hit the tire and steering arm. When this started I had not driven the car after that because I felt unsafe. So I called Chrysler Customer Service and ask them to refund my money for the repair ($700+} since I Told them of possibly be injured or killed if the steering locked up while driving. They gave me a case number and said they would review it. They denied the request and blew me off with " it's out of warranty". I said I knew that and you were not concerned with my family's safety. So I need your help to recalling all Journeys which could happen to them. 2- The lugs nuts on dodges are covered in a casing and after a few years they separate from the nut. This is a big problem because the lug wrench not longer fits and I had to buy a MM deep socket to fit that nut when I would have fix a flat tire. You should review that too.

Something in the engine is causes the alternator to die. I’ve gotten it changed 3 times within a year. The car has been having multiple issues since I purchased it. The file is to lengthy to upload

BAD KEY ERROR EVEN AFTER WIN MODULE HAS BEEN REPLACED. ISSUE HAS BEEN PROMINENT SINCE RECALL WAS REPAIRED IN 2016 THEN ISSUE WITH STARTING THE ENGINE CAME UP. DEALERSHIP COULDN'T RECREATE ISSUE AND WOULDN'T FIX PROBLEM. NOW 2021, CAR GIVES BAD KEY ERROR AND WON'T RECOGNIZE ANY KEYS OR START UP WITH REMOTE START. WIN MODULE WAS REPLACED AND TWO DAYS LATER, SAME ISSUE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE POWER STEERING HOSE FROZE AND BURST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE HEARD A POPPING SOUND BEFORE THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO STEER. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO MAKE RIGHT OR LEFT TURNS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BATTERY WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED SHE WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO HER RESIDENCE WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND FAILED TO RESTART. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS NO POWER STEERING FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 194,000.

RECALL WITH THE AIRBAG FOR OTHER VAN'S. MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY ON AND RETURNS AFTER BEING CLEARED. CAR'S AIRBAGS HAVE NEVER BEEN DEPLOYED.

I GOT THIS VEHICLE IN OCTOBER IT DROVE GREAT UNTIL A COUPLE WEEKS AGO. NOW IT HAS STARTED HAVING STEERING DIFFICULTIES LIKE IT PULLS TO THE RIGHT WHEN DRIVING.
