The seat feels like it’s leaning to the right and rocks back on start and rocks forward on stop. Please advise if this is part of a larger issue.

Brake pedal sinks all the way to the floor to be able to break. Dealership changed brake booster to solve the problem. It was replaced but it’s still doing the same thing. Next recommendation was to change the brake master cylinder. It was also replacement but still having the same issue. Now the dealership is recommending to change the HCU (hydraulic control unit). I did some research that some ford vehicles is under a recall about HCU’s. But not specifically for 2014 Ford Edge. I am reaching out to get this looked over and consider this part of Ford Edge recall as well. Thank you

Backup camera not working properly. Unsure if this falls under any recall headings for safety. I’ve seen many recalls on newer backup cameras but none on this year model. Was displaying upside down or with green lines across the screen and now just completely unavailable. Has not been diagnosed by ford and will not be diagnosed by ford out of my pocket. Can’t afford it. But it is available for inspection. I did clean some corrosion off of some wiring harness connections to no avail. Please advise.

The back up camera image flipped upside down about five years ago. it will occasionally flip right side up for short while, but then flips back. I recently found online that I'm not alone, and that this seems to be a common problem among Ford Edge owners. Also, I see where there was a recall of 2020 and 2021 Ford Edges with similar back up camera issues. It seems that the problem existed prior to those years already. Is there any chance that the this problem be acknowledged by Ford to me, an earlier and current owner ?

Multiple car alarms showed up. Turns out the ABS module is bad. Looked at the Ford page and the same issue is already in recall on 2011-2013 years. This vehicle is a 2014 and has the same problem and should be included in the recall.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the steering wheel and vehicle were shaking abnormally. There was an abnormal clunking sound detected. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who determined that the transmission case and drive shaft were cracked and leaking and needed to be replaced. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact called another local dealer, Magic City Ford Lincoln (809 Williamson Rd. NE, Roanoke, VA 24016 – (540)345-0911), but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, opened a case, and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. Faulty Water Pump causing thousands of dollars to repair. There is a recall on same models and year my vehicle should also be on it. Stalled on hiway. Had to pay more money for tow. Repairs are more than car is worth. You have to take the top part of engine off to replace it.

In 2020, I paid a local Ford Dealership to replace my back up camera on my 2014 Ford Edge SEL. The camera had failed and gave the " camera not available" to driver. Worked until July of 2024. In July, the new camera failed. The camera "inverted" the image the driver sees. This makes it impossible to use the camera safely for backing up or hazard during back up. I feel this is a critical safety issue, causing disorientation of the driver while backing up. A call to the Ford dealer got the reply " Your vehicle is not covered under any Ford recall to date. The back-up camera has failed, and we can replace it at your cost"
