    The rear camera is compromised because water gets inside and is blocking the view of the camera. You are unable to use the rear backup camera because the view is completely blocked or blurred by the water or moisture that is able to get in.

    The contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that the vehicle was involved in a crash in 2024 that damaged the A-pillars. The contact stated that the A-pillar trims were replaced with an aftermarket part by the Auto Body shop that repaired the vehicle. The contact called the dealer and was informed that the A-pillar trim parts were not yet available. The contact checked online and determined that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V031000 (Structure). The manufacturer was not informed of the failure.     Left side roof rack chrome cover came off on the freeway with no warning. It could have flown into other cars. Haven't taken to dealer yet. No inspection, the part is gone, run over by other vehicles. No symptoms prior to failure.

    Both an and b pillars are junk and dealer inspected a pillars and said they were fine? And there’s no remedy for the b ones which is annoying. My car shakes bc of a transmission shutter at 100k miles it’s not bad but why is jt going on? And wind noise because of the pillars I’m hoping? Needing help from someone.
