Ford issued a TSB 22-2428, May 26, 2023 and not a recall for defective transmission. I own a 2019 F150 that with the 10 speed transmission. Over my warranted period the truck was taken to the dealership over 21 times regarding shifting problem. Ford said there is nothing wrong with the transmission that is just how they shift. Now 2025 I told the truck back to dealership with this TSB paper. The tech said yes, this whole transmission needs replaced so they contacted Ford and so did I. Ford told me the truck is out of warranty and I would have to replace the transmission at my expense. After explaining to Ford this truck was taken in under warranty and they failed to address the transmission and told me it was find to come and find out I was lied to like many other that there was a defects in these transmissions. Ford told me, were sorry but we wont pay for the transmission to be replaced even though they put defective 10 speed transmissions in my truck and failed to address it over the 21 time I took it to the dealership under warranty. Ford has lie about this 10 speed transmission over and over to all its customer, and issued a TSB instead of a recall so now they can make the customer pay again to have a defected transmission that shouldn't have been defective from the beginning. Make Ford issues a recall on this matter and stop letting them get away with a simple TSB since Ford knows the owner are out of warranty.

Transmission clunks when upshifting after going uphill onto level surface, when accelerating after briefly slowing transmission makes noticeable clunking noise. Dealer checked this issue in 2024 but did not find any issues with the transmission. This issue with the transmission has gotten worse since the visit to the dealership to address the complaint. There have never been any warning lights that indicated a problem. There is now a slight hesitation when upshifting which I feel will only get worse over time.
