2019 FORD F-150 Complaints

All of a sudden I lost almost all braking. Brake light came on and a message saying low brake fluid prompted on screen. I see this was recalled for the 3.5l ecoboost. Why wouldn’t this be recalled for the 2.7l eco boost? Reading online it seems I had the same problem other people had.

The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted, dramatically reducing speed of the vehicle before returning to normal functionality. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V444000 (Power Train), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 67,000.

The contact stated while starting the vehicle, the contact heard a loud ticking coming from the engine compartment, with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the cam phasers had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 126,404.

When driving the truck under normal conditions, truck will randomly shift unintentionally from gear to gear (ie. 3-8-1) not following typical shifting pattern, causing loss of power temporarily to the truck and sometimes the rear tires lock up due to the transmission shifting issue. I have had the rear tires lock up momentarily at speeds at approximately 50km/h. Truck has 10-speed transmission.

Vehicle changes gear from 10-1 at highway speeds, transmission begins to overheat, looses power when going from 1st gear to third gear after a stop at a light or stop ?? sign. I’ve had several near miss accidents in the past month. Ford will not offer any assistance or fix the problem for a vehicle with 104,000

My rear view camera freezes up when reversing, I think there is no one behind my truck because there is a still picture of the 1st image. It's hard enough backing up full size trucks without a camera, but it's even worse when the camera shows no one is behind me and at times there have been. I've asked the dealer where I bought the vehicle, but they always say "There's no recall on your year for this problem".

Driving at 45mph and 55 mph the trucks transmission gets confused on which gear to be in and up shifts then down shifts back and forth then downshifts 2 gears and locks up the rear wheels and causes a uncontrollable lock up and skid

The truck would just shut off while driving or not start whenever you need it to. It acts like a dead battery but the battery is fine. It has been at the dealership for 45 days plus straight for this issue. When it cuts out, we lose all steering all breaking all power. I’m very lucky it hasn’t taken my life or one of my family members lives. There are some innocent person on the road because of The lack of quality and workmanship. In my opinion the truck needs to be recalled because it’s been nothing but a hassle for us.

After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Customer Satisfaction Program: 21N03. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 74,000.

Cam Phasers were recalled on some 2019 Ford F150 3.5 Ecoboost motor. Ours is having the same issues as others that were recalled but we were never notified of the recall and it doesn't show up for our VIN. Why would it not be on all 2019 Ford F150 3.5 EcoBoost motor?
