"GRABBY" BRAKES. At low speeds, approximately 5-10mph, when I gently apply the brakes, the brakes suddenly and without warning catch or "lock up" as if slamming on the brakes. It's a jolting experience and can be dangerous if another vehicle is following close behind and my brakes lock up for no apparent reason. There are no warning lamps or messages. This braking malfunction began the first day I took delivery.

The passenger side footwell is accumulating water. Windows are closed, no significant rainfall. Perhaps associated with the AC. Mold spores have formed on the carpet causing a health hazard. I am too worried to pull up the carpet to see what it is like underneath. After drying it several times, it continues to form puddles, again with no rain.

Multiple instances of Auto Hold function sucking brake to floor and haulting vehicle at low speeds causing danger of a rear collision. Recommend adding a 1 second delay to current system before engaging auto hold function.

I pulled my 2022 Maverick into my parking spot at work and everything went dead. I had to use my key to open my tailgate. The tow service jumped the battery and it started, however, when they went to take it off the tow truck at the Ford dealership, it had to be jump started again. I was told the battery was bad and they changed it. The vehicle worked fine for three days and on the morning of the fourth day I had difficulty starting the vehicle. The first three times I turned the key all I heard was clicking and it started on the fourth try. I then drove it straight to the dealership where it has been for the past 8 days.

The contact had to cut the rear passenger's seat belt with a scissor to release her daughter. The contact's daughter sustained bruising on her stomach and waist; however, medical attention was not received. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. Was going about 20 in a residential setting with nobody around and the truck locked the brakes and forward collision warning started flashing on the screen. It was pretty scary seeing there was nothing to hit.

My vehicle died on my driveway. I have no power, no lights, cant open my locked trunk. Checked voltage on the battery. It shows 12.6V (normal, so no need to jump start). Checked the same thing on the other side of the main harness (in the engine compartment). It shows zero. Something is wrong with the main harness. Towed it to the closest dealership. They confirmed. One of the contacts on the harness broke. Luckily I was on my driveway already. What if this issue would happen when I was driving on the highway and my family were with me. Dealership ordered harness replacement (its impossible to fix this one). So in a couple of weeks/month it will arrive and they will replace it. But I'm not confident in my truck any more. Bad cheap harness is the main cause of this issue. Ford decided to use cheap component. And this is the common issue for Maverick Hybrid. Lots of people reported it. We need new recall
