Front entry door opens while driving down the road. I have started deadbolt locking it. Lucky the hand rail folded in has caught the door from swinging out. Still could be dangerous for other drivers if something inside falls out of the RV.

THE BELTS ON ALL 4 TIRES WERE SEPARATING AND ONE BLEW OUT WHILE ON THE ROADWAY AND A SECOND HAD LOST AIR PRESSURE WITH NO NOTIFICATION. ALL 4 TIRES ON THE FIFTH WHEEL WERE COMING APART PER THE TIRE SHOP (AOK TIRES).

My wife and I were traveling from Wilson NC to Virginia Beach VA on Friday [XXX] for a vacation and we had 3 tires explode and do damage to fender on both sides of the unit and on the way home from Virginia Beach VA the 4th tire exploded ( Between all costs it has cost almost $1500 in service fees and replacement tires ( also the spare tire being the 5th tire) I have tried researching on NHTSA website and tried calling and was unable to speak with an agent regarding this incident ) --I look up recalls for the trailer itself and saw 1 for the black tank but none for the tires and I wanted to file a formal complaint against Palamino regarding the destructive nature of the tires installed on the unit at the time of manufacture. Castle Rock ST225/75r15 Was traveling with a 2021 Forest River RV and had a rapid loss of tire pressure and complete tread separation. Tires were at the proper pressure and driving below the speed rating of 70 mph. Incident occurred about an hour into trip, but less than 15 minutes after a stop and check of tires. Even a flat or picking up something in the road should not cause a full scale tread separation. These are just poorly made tires. No symptoms of problems, just a cheap tire.

There is a problem with the Axel on this trailer. It is making the floor buckle and the slide is sagging.

Factory installed axle is under rated for the application. Axle sags causing the wheels to camber inward towards the trailer potentially causing a blowout and loss of control.

We purchased a new fifth wheel camper on [XXX]. After we picked it up, we joined some Facebook groups related to our model and learned there is a recall associated with the model we bought. We confirmed there is an open recall (24V395) on our VIN on forest river's website [XXX] ). Upon review of the recall instructions listed online - our RV was in fact wired incorrectly and not only needs inspected but fixed. Recall 24V395 was opened on June 5, 2024 and dealer notification occurred July 14, 2024. With this in mind, our dealer should have been aware that they sold us a new RV with an open recall. After a camping trip through the mountains of Wyoming, I discovered my campers trailer brakes were not working. I found the u-bolts that hold the axles to the leaf springs had contacted the frame of the trailer and cut the electric trailer brake wires in half making the trailer brakes inoperable. The leaf springs on this trailer are too weak and don't provide adequate clearance from the frame.

Dexter axels can not be aligned, resulting in excessive tire wear and blowouts. I purchased a 2019 Rockwood travel trailer used on [XXX]. Tires looked nearly new. On [XXX] I replaced tires in Kanab, UT. On 8/31/2021 I had the alignment checked at Superior Spring in Cheshire, MA. The axels were severely out of alignment but due to the Dexter design they could not be aligned. I called the trailer manufacturer and was referred to Dexter. Although I was 2 years into the 10 year warranty, Dexter told me the warranty only covered the original purchaser. Since that time, I have replaced tires two more times on 5/3/2022 and 4/10/2023. The tires are now showing uneven wear and will need to be replaced soon. I BELIEVE THE INABILITY TO ALIGN THE AXELS IS A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW AND A SAFETY CONCERN. We were driving down the road in downtown Greenville, SC, and the left side window fell out of the camper. The man behind us waved us down and told us the window had fallen out and was hanging on the side of the camper. When we pulled into a parking lot, the window fell and smashed onto the ground, breaking into small pieces. After speaking with Lippert and Forest River, this is a known problem, and there is a recall for the window on the 2018-2020 models, but according to Lippert, they "fixed the problem" by changing the adhesive on the fascia of the window. The invoice repair is still pending because the wrong window was ordered. I am told the window will cost $600 plus shipping and labor costs. I also understand I am going to have to pay almost $1000 to have the window fixed, but this is still an issue that needs to be addressed so it does not happen to someone else. I spoke with Forest River and Lippert and neither are taking responsibility for the issue. The gentleman at Lippert said he could not help me because the recall was only for 2018-2020 and is no longer an issue. We have owned the travel trailer since May 2022. It has been used 10-12 times. Since purchasing it, we have replaced the track on the slide, water pump, heater, and refrigerator, rechalked the trim work, and the showers and sinks leak. I share the last part for you to understand the window is not the only issue in the quality of product that Forest River is putting out.
