2021 FOREST RIVER CHEROKEE- Corryton , TN
On my camper, there are bolts from the body through the frame to hold the two together. While inspecting my camper nearly all the bolts could be unscrewed by hand, with a few having a noticeable gap where they had backed away. There were only 3 bolts on the entire camper that were tight. If these bolts had continued to loosen it is possible the body could separate from the frame while driving. I contacted the manufacturer over this issue and was told to inspect those bolts each time. Nowhere in the owners manual could I find where this is a requirement.

2021 FOREST RIVER CEDAR CREEK- Ward, AR
While towing our 5th wheel cross country on a trip in July 2020 our front hydraulic jack legs starting coming down several times while driving and contacted the road surface which could have possibly resulted in loss of control. Some how the hydraulic system was applying pressure by itself while towing .I first tried disconnecting electrical power to the hydraulic system and keeping the jack legs up with a 400 lb rated ratchet strap and the legs would still come down on its own with enough pressure to break the 400 lb rated strap. I was finally able to keep the leg secured up with 2 x 600 lb rated ratchet straps. While in Indiana we took our new 5th wheel to a Lippert componets service center and they replaced both front jacks and drained and replaced all the fluid under warranty. The service tech said this issue happened sometimes. Searching the internet it appears this a fairly common problem. This is a safety issue and Lippert should be responsible for coming up with a permanent solution.

2019 FOREST RIVER CHEROKEE- Castroville, CA
Component failure: Winntec Model 6020 two stage propane regulator,I have regulator Regulator failed and has been recalled by many major RV manufacturers. Extreme fire hazard if regulator fails to perform and not regulate the amount of pressure coming from the propane tanks. Can result in extreme flames from appliances and cause fire that can endanger lives. Jayco has issued a recall NHTSA#21V-425TC#2021-367, Highland Ridge#21V-430TC#2021-369,StarcraftRV#21V-431TC#2021-368, and probably numerous other manufacturers. NO warnings or letters of recall have been issued by Forest River to this point that I am aware. When I found out that this model regulator had been recalled by other manufacturers I immediately called Forest River on 3/1/22 and spoke to "Austin" who advised there was no recall based on my VIN. I advised him of my research and he advised that he would consult with "others" about the problem. I called him the next day and he again advised there was nothing he could do since no recall associated with my VIN. Jayco was sending recall notices to owners in August 2021 to take RV to dealer for replacement of regulator. WHY HAS THERE BEEN NO NOTICE TO FOREST RIVER OWNERS REGARDING THIS EXTREME SAFETY HAZARD ON MODELS EQUIPPED WITH THIS REGULATOR?

2020 FOREST RIVER ROCKWOOD- Niskayuna, NY
I bought this trailer last year at Albany RV ONE in Latham NY I saw several posts online about the bolts not being secured to the frame from the body. Upon inspection I found ours were not only loose, but some were not installed at all. This should have been caught at the factory or at the dealership when inspected for sale They did give us a current State inspection sticker on the trailer. We then expected that it was inspected at the dealer. I paid over 400.00 to the dealer for the needed repairs (installing bolts) This should have been found during inspection at the factory or during the NYS inspection when sold to us. RV ONE takes no reasonability for either and claims it's not under warranty so we have to pay which I did to get my camper back. Could you please look into this for us? 2018 FOREST RIVER SANDSTORM- Rancho Cucamonga, CA
The contact owns a 2018 Forest River Sandstorm. The contact stated that there was a fracture near the front on the driver's side. The contact had not taken the trailer to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and advised the contact to take the trailer to a body shop. The body shop suggested that the outside side paneling needed to be replaced as well as placing a seal on the vehicle along with additional work to repair the fracture. The contact stated while using the king pin to attach inside the trailer to the truck, they had to use the jacks to lift the trailer. The contact stated that the weight could extend the fracture. The manufacturer was contacted another time and declined to offer additional repairs due to the contact not being the original owner of the RV. The failure mileage was unknown.

2021 FOREST RIVER SURVEYOR- Sun City West, AZ
The propane refrigerator shuts off and does not restart. This occurs everyone one to two hours. My selling Dealer and I have received no help in resolving this issue from the refrigerator manufacturer (Norcold) or the trailer manufacturer (Forest River). We believe it to be a significant safety issue that could cause a fire or explosion in the trailer.
