I was driving and was almost home when I heard a pop and started getting jerked back and forth and then just slowed down almost to a complete stop with vehicles approaching quickly almost causing a multiple vehicle pile up I’ve heard multiple people complain about the particular transmission that is put in these gmc and chevy 1500s and am just confused with all of the problems I see on the internet and hear from peers in person why it has not been recalled yet if need be I will make a survey of gmc and chevy owners to let it be known that the transmissions on these vehicles were poorly built and need to be recalled before anybody has this problem that I had today

My drivers side seat belt cable broke. I did some research and there was a recall no. 16V209000. I took my vehicle to Swickard GMC dealer in Anchorage AK to get repaired and they fixed the seatbelt but told me it wasnt covered under the recall because the recall had already been completed in 2015. The issue with the seat belt breaking is exactly the issues in the recall and believe the recall was not completed or was completed unproperly.

When turning 30 mph and under the eps (power steering) cuts out randomly for a second or less and jerks the wheel only causing a slight swerve so far but has me worried and I'll be paying for the software update out of pocket since my truck isn't in the recall even though other 2014 sierras are recalled.
