Transmission experiencing hard shifts, especially at low speeds. Vehicle "jumps" forward with the hard shift. Took to dealer for service. Dealer indicated that GMC used the wrong transmission fluid during assembly of the vehicle. This was a known problem within GMC.

Truck has the 8 speed automatic transmission and at times makes a hard shift when pulling out from a stop. Truck currently shudders/shakes at around 1500 to 2000 rpm until the transmission goes into a lower gear. Feels like rumble strips in the road. Truck has only 32,000 miles on it.

EBCM needs to be reprogrammed. Larry Stovesand GMC in Paducah, KY will NOT service my recall because it was closed on 2019, research has shown that this programming may need to be done again. After telling them this info. they are now saying that they will not service my recall because it has a salvaged title. After researching how a salvaged title is still honorable for a free recall service they are now telling me to take it somewhere else.

The trailer brake System sensor keeps going off making the vehicle unbearable to drive. The transmission also jerks when it gets to 7 mph. I've taken the truck to the GMC dealer over 3 times to check the transmission problem and it still jerks. This has been a on going problem since the purchase of the vehicle.

Driving on the highway going approximately 64mph and the traffic lane shifted over and everyone started to slow down and when I went to apply some brake . The pedal got very hard and became very hard to push down effecting my ability to brake properly. This almost caused me to get into an accident and I had to shoot over to the breakdown lane giving me enough time to slow down. My pedal became very hard to push down. My complaint is of the intelilink system in this vehicle. While driving the system would change screens, when turned off would turn itself back on. It would hang up on phone calls, would make all these beeping sounds and change stations on radio. It was very distracting and I feel dangerous in that especially at night as I said would not stay turned off so the beeping and changing of the screen that would make the large(8”) screen go from night mode to day mode and shine into your eyes. When navigating to somewhere system would show that you were in one place, when you were possibly 20 miles from where it would show you to be. Bad because it maybe showing and telling you turn by turn directions and all of a sudden it’s gone. This problem has been diagnosed by a dealer and repaired at a cost of $887.85. Was told that it is a very common repair that they do. Have contacted gm customer service and let them know that I thought a 2017 vehicle with 35000 miles should not have this problem and would like some kind of compensation for the problem and repair
