My truck is under the national recall from GMC for the 6.2L engine problems. I even received the recall notice from GMC stating this. This truck has been in and out of the shop for engine problems things I took delivery of it in 2022. The latest was in April of 2025 and while it was in the repair service at the dealership, the national recall came out. During that time the dealership tried to tell me the problem was with my exhaust system so I was not covered under the recall. I knew they were not being truthful so I refused to take possession of the truck as I new it had all the symptoms that GMC was describing in my recall notice. My truck sat at the dealership for almost 5 months and last week they force me to take possession of my truck my taking back my "loaner vehicle". They stated "my truck passed the required inspection", which I knew they were being dishonest, but was forced to take the truck back anyway. Three days after taking possession I was on the interstate doing 60 mph and the engine totally seized up and almost caused an accident from the vehicles behind me running into me because of the sudden decrease in speed. I was able to safely pull over and had to get towed back to the dealership. This incident is beyond just a engine recall now because they new my truck was not safe to drive and forced me to take back my truck. Im just thankful I was driving and not my wife, or having my two grandchildren in the truck with me. To make mtters worse in this scenerio, this truck is actually my replacement truck because my 2021 truck had to be taken back per the Lemon Law in 2022, so this will now be truck #2 being Lemon Law and my original truck loan isnt even paid off. I have all of the various engine repair paperwork on this truck dating back to 2022.

Recall Number N242490120 was performed in April 2025 at: Rivard Buick GMC, Tampa, Florida, Phone # 813-620-6500 The Grille was inspected and repaired with adhesive to reinforce the plastic tabs to the grille so it would not detach and cause a safety issue when driving. This recall was performed before we purchased the vehicle and we are located in Oklahoma City, OK. The vehicle has been listed for sale at our car dealership in Oklahoma City and had to have multiple Warranty Repairs at GMC/Chevy over the summer. We Sold the vehicle on [XXX] to a customer: [XXX] and he was driving the vehicle and the Grille detached and fell off the vehicle while driving. The Grille hit his hood and windshield and caused damage. He could have had an accident when the grille detached from the front of the vehicle. We dropped the vehicle off at Bob Howard GMC on 8/26/25 and they said since the recall has been performed that it is not covered and nothing they can do about fixing it under Recall or Warranty. We reached out to GMC Customer Service 1800 # and they told us the same thing, and we would have to repair it out of pocket. I find this extremely unprofessional and avoiding taking care of the issue that should have been taken care of the first time. The part is faulty and part of the Recall to be repaired or replaced properly so this hazardous part does not cause a problem while driving and that is exactly what happened even after having the recall taken care of at GMC. We at La Raza Motors Inc. have inspected the vehicle/Grille and upon discovering the previous recall/repair that was performed at Rivard Buick GMC in Tampa, Florida, the Grille was not properly repaired and not up to standard. This part should have been replaced instead of repaired. [XXX] retrieved the broken/detached Grille after it detached to see what had happened and we have pictures. No police report was made at the time of the incident. No lights or warnings were on at the time of the incident. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT

See attached document for complaint. Text from attached document: Unacceptable delays in repair: We have contacted 2 local dealerships, both of which have informed us that the necessary parts are unavaila ble and cannot provide a clear time line for when repairs will be completed. Leesburg Buick GMC Hummer (Country Buick GMC at time of vehicle purchase) Joyce Koons Buick GMC (Service Manager: Michael Nguyen) • Poor communication from GM: We have received no follow-up communication from GM regarding the status of the recall or expected resolution. We have contacted GM twice by phone using the number provided in the recall notice. During the first call, we were transferred to a dealer in Arizona- despite resid ing in Virginia. On our second call, on 8/2, we were informed that our case had been escalated and that we would be contacted within 24-48 hours. As of now, we have not received any return phone call. • Ongoing safety concerns: We are unable to drive the vehicle due to the risk of engine failure, which compromises our safety and that of others on the road.

I was notified by GMC of recall N25249000 by letter in May 2025. Shortly after I scheduled an appointment with my GM dealer to get the recall repaired but the dealer told me that GM has not told them how to repair the issue. The GM dealer told me they would let me know when GM tells the dealer how to repair the issue, so I could bring the vehicle back to repair the recall. I just received another notice from GMC about the recall today (08/11/2025). It has been roughly 4 months of waiting to get this recall fixed on my vehicle.

August 7, 2025: The front upper grille deflector flew off my truck while I was driving on the interstate, despite the recent recall service.
