While driving to work with my workers and I on HWY going 70 mph pickup just turned off on me and no longer started up. Took to Mechanic and said it was the Bosch CP4 failure. Metal debris flooded our entire high-pressure fuel system. Had to get replacement of fuel lines, fuel rails, pump and injectors and the removal/flushing of the fuel tank. Our total repair is over $12,000. which we don't have. Mechanic just finished repairing it after 11 month's but we don't have the $ to get it out from shop.

Wife and daughter took the pickup to town. While returning home wife noticed a noise from the front end. She slowed down to turn and the whole tire with rotor came off the pickup causing the brake line to get ripped off and stating a fire. Damaged the running board and rocker panel along with the cv axle and other numerous parts.

I turned on my rear defroster. I smelled electrical burning and rear window shattered with my 6 month old in the back seat in her car seat. GM states there is a recall which can be referenced as N192220470. Speaking with customer service and dealership the recall is VIN specific and my vehicle is not included in the recall even though the year and make is listed in the recall. Very dangerous, especially when there are passengers in the back seat of the vehicle

While exiting off ramp of the interstate my truck just completely shut down. After several towing bills to different mechanics to verify the problem, it was the cp4 pump system ! Over $13000 in repairs , towing , and rental fees

The display of the intellink system acts erratic and eventually freezes up. It happens in all modes ( map, radio, phone, ….). The only way to reset is shut the truck off. GMC knows of the problem but their only solution is replace the radio and or replace the touch panel. This can be a safety issue but I take my eyes off the road to try and get the display to work.

I was driving at approximately 40 MPH on a busy city street, I was going to be getting on the freeway where my speed would be in excess of 70MPH. Suddenly without any warning, my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Duramax died. I had no power at all which means no steering, brakes, etc. I was able to get the vehicle off the road with brute force. After the vehicle was towed to the dealership they inspected it and said that the Fuel Injector Pump failed which put metal throughout the whole fuel injection system (>$7000 repair). While doing some additional research on the Internet I find out that this is a common problem for the 2011-2016 GM Duramax trucks, because GM chose to use a Bosch Fuel Injector Pump which is not suitable for use with US low sulphur diesel fuel.

LOST POWER AT 60 MPH ON 5 LANE FREEWAY ON 6% GRADE WITH NO WARNING WHEN TURBO CHARGER VARIABLE VANE GOT STUCK. HAD TO NAVIGATE THROUGH 2 LANES OF TRUCKS TO GET INTO THE EMERGENCY PARKING LANE. COMPUTER LIMITED ME TO 15 MPH. COMPUTER DESIGNED TO DO THIS. NO ACCIDENT HAPPENED DUE TO SOME VERY COURTEOUS TRUCK DRIVERS. IT SEEMED LIKE A SAFETY ISSUE TO ME, BUT DON'T KNOW IF IT IS IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR YOUR TO INVESTIGATE.
