One rear brake light was intermittently malfunctioning even though the vehicle only has 80,000 miles and is a 2017 model. Upon researching online, I saw that 2015 and 2016 models were recalled for this. 2017 was given a limited term to have the vehicle fixed IF they were experiencing the issue. I was not experiencing the issue at the time, so I was responsible for a large chunk of the cost of repairing the light through the dealer at GMC. GMC did inspect the vehicle. The company was made aware of the problem. The dealer discussed it with them and they agreed to pay half as a "favor" basically to have the rear light replaced.

The retractable side steps on the passenger side retracts while still getting into the vehicle. It almost catches the entire foot in the door. It’s a safety hazard for my children and parents. It is currently an out of pocket expense and my vehicle has less than 55000 miles on it. It has happened multiple time including today.

When backing down a boat ramp for a day on the lake I experienced extremely high rake pedel effort and abs engaging with no wheel slip for skid. In order to keep the vehicle from going into the lake I had to apply the parking brake. No warning lamps illuminated. The dealer states it is a faulty vacuum pump.

The right side break light works intermittently. It is out more than on. I was informed that there is a shortage in it and the entire assembly has to be replaced. I see countless GMC Yukons with the same light out. This is a huge safety issue.

AC stopped blowing cold air. Took it to the dealer and they are saying based on where the leak is it needs a new compressor. There is a recall / special coverage for other GMC 2015-2017 for this exact issue.

OUR VEHICLE IS 2017 AND WE HAVE TO REPLACE THE AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER. I'VE READ THAT THIS A ISSUE WITH THESE VEHICLES AND IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR. THIS PROBLEM. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL IN PLACE. WE AS CONSUMERS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE NEGLECT OF GMC NOT PROPERLY BUILDING THIS VEHICLE.
