2007 GMC YUKON XL Complaints

The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon XL. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, she became aware that the light was not functioning on the instrument panel. The contact was not able to see any warning lights on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to diagnose the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 186,000.

The dashboard from the air back recall broke and there’s is no recall for it witch there should be because when that air bag goes off it could send parts of the brittle dash into the passenger

Thr lifters shut down the engine and caused it to completely turn off the vehicle while in motion. It is available for inspection. Has not been confirmed by dealer. The code read cylinder 1 misfire but the lifters were not functional. The seizure of the engine and full stop of the vehicle while in motion nearly caused a 3 car pile up and a close collision into a fire hydrant as the steering locked and emergency brakes were not functional. There was no other warning lamps or messages offered prior to the shut down.

I have a 2007 GMC yukon denali xl that have the stabilitrac, check suspension, traction control lights and messages come on the car looses power and being in traffic I was almost t-boned this is a problem that has cost me alot of time and money please help please it is going to cause a wreck this is not a Isolated incident a recall needs to happen

The contact called the local dealer who confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact was added to the waiting list. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

I slid on black ice lost control of car and hit a tree head on. My car was no longer driveable, my daughter hit windshield with her head, airbag did not deploy.

We have received a URGENT AND IMPORTANT recall related to our Airbag being a deadly threat when activated. This was in February 2021 and still there is no remedy to get rid of the deadly threat !!!

The local dealer was contacted and made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 230,000.

I was ran off the road causing me to hit a ground wire to a telephone pole damageing my truck bad and my air bags didn't deploy
