WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN PARK I WILL GET A "SHIFT TO PARK" NOTIICATION AND WILL HAVE TO MOVE MY CAR MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET IT TO REGISTER. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM ON OTHER 2017 GMC ACADIA BUT DOES NOT FALL UNDER MY VIN #

The transmission is going out and it started with a shudder. The change for the transmission filter and oil was only a temporary fix. It also shifts hard or there is a delay in the shift.

When the vehicle is put into park and I turn the vehicle off I get an alert on my console saying "Shift to Park". I called GM customer service and was told "harness" had been replaced in 2020. I bought the vehicle in 2021. Last year I had to replace the "harness" and it is doing it is now doing it again.

The contact owns a 2024 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the instrument panel remained blank. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the contact was informed that the failure could not be duplicated, and no fault was found with the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200.

The Yukon has stopped while driving twice. The check engine light came on, the dealership says there is an oil problem and the oil pump is bad along with bad lifters. There is wear to the motor as well.

Transmission failed during acceleration leaving me in the middle of intersection almost hit by a semi truck that had to slam breaks. Then final shifted and redlined 6 times before shifting. Then proceeded to limp mode

Headlights on this vehicle, since purchased, have not cast enough light in order to see in unlit backroads, or extrememly dim areas. I have to drive with my brights on constantly, in order to get enough light thrown onto the road, for the left and right sides, as well as the front. These were not working well since purchase. I took my child to a friends house in rural PA, and I literally could NOT SEE THE street signs, let alone far enough down the road. I nearly hit a stone wall.. My eyes keep asking to see more, but truck does not produce enough headlight. I even went to the eye doctor, after that situation, thinking it was my vision dimming, but was told I have 20/20. There needs to be a formal recall. I am not the only one complaining about these HORRIBLE projection headlights. To replace these headlights would cost over 1000K, out of pocket, which is not something I should have to fix. I am complaining now, because with the light getting darker earlier, am noticing how lousy driving at night really is.. and honestly, being BLINDED by oncoming LED's , without having proper headlights on my truck in order to see when blinded, really [XXX]. On 22 April I turned my truck in to the dealership service department due to recall of the L87 6.2L engine. Also, told the rep, "my truck was shifting hard". After inspection revealed the valve body needed replacing. My vehicle is still at the service department today with no remedy in sight. I asked if Gm could just replace my transmission because, the part is not coming. They explained they would replace the transmission, but they can't find a 10 speed transmission available to swap out. I call weekly to get updates. nothing!!

Transmission shutters and won’t engage into reverse when hot, rear backup camera intermittently won’t display on screen just get a picture of a camera on dash screen. Happens multiple times dealer charged me for diagnostics but didn’t even drive the vehicle to get hot.

The contact owns a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. The contact stated that while driving 80 MPH, the vehicle hesitated, and failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. In addition, there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from underneath the passenger’s side of the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact arrived at the residence and used a personal diagnostic reader and retrieved information related to misfires in cylinder #2 and #4. The contact replaced the spark plugs and the ignition coils. The contact test drove the vehicle, and the check engine warning light later illuminated. The contact swapped the ignition coils; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that Active Fuel Management (AFM) and Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) had failed and caused the lifters to fail. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The vehicle remained at the dealer unrepaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
