While driving my 2023 GMC Sierra on the highway at highway speeds, a piece of the front grille suddenly detached and flew off the vehicle. There was no prior accident, impact, or external damage to the grille; the part failed and unclipped on its own due to defective manufacturing or weak retaining clips. This creates a severe safety hazard as the flying debris could have struck the windshield of the vehicles traveling behind me, potentially causing a major accident. I am aware that the 2022 GMC Sierra has an active recall (N242490120) for this exact same issue, yet GM is refusing to cover this 2023 model under warranty or recall despite presenting identical component failure.

Transmission shudders and shifts very hard in lower gears. Going from drive to reverse the transmission shifts hard.

The lifters collapsed on cylinder 3 causing the camshaft to shed metal into the oil leading to bearing failure. Leaving us stranded 210 miles away from home. Motor has 85,909 miles. This is the same problem that the 2021 model year trucks have that has a recall. The 2019 model years have the exact same problems. I personally know 6 people who have had this happen. We took in our Yukon for the recall letters we’ve received in the mail and to check a suspension light the popped up. Our Yukon was given back to us with the ac not working properly anymore and it started to turn off on us out of nowhere. now we need an engine replacement. What’s more aggravating is that the Yukon was checked out the week of july27 -31 according to service advisor the engine was good and the only thing needing to be replaced was the module for the suspension light that popped up. Now it turns out that it doesn’t even need a module replacement and the suspension issue is something else. Super frustrating It’s our only family vehicle and it so upsetting that we were given the Yukon back in the condition it was in. Thank goodness the Yukon shut off at a drive thru and not a freeway or my husband would’ve got into an accident.

I have a 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 6.2L engine. I purchased it on [XXX]. On [XXX] with 13,000 miles on the truck the engine started making a bad noise from the lower end of the motor. I immediately took it to the dealer Randy Wise Buick GMC in Fenton Michigan. They diagnosed it as a spun bearing and had to replace the engine. While driving home from work my 2020 GMC Terrain stalled and turned off. I was on a very busy 2 lane road, crossing a intersection in a tourist area in [XXX]. This could have be come fatal very easily. I was able to get the car started and Home but had to take it very slow. Next day we weren't able to get the car started nor turned on. Battery is new and still works, we also had a mechanic come to the house and run his computer telling us it was the Fuel Pump Control Module. There were no warning signs leading up to this moment. I see there has been recalls for the same issue for 2021 and 2022 models but my GMC dealership I bought my car at is telling this isn't an issue in any Terrain that they are aware of. I was driving to work on 7/20/26 and my vehicle loss engine propulsion , engine failure and unable to restart vehicle and shift gears.

The contact owns a 2023 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that after further inspection, the contact became aware that the second-row middle seat belt buckle failed to latch securely into the seat belt buckle and failed to remain securely locked. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.

The failure to have proper viscosity oil along with manufacturing error resulting in failure of lifters, cam shaft, and crank shaft all needing replaced. Repair totaled over $10,000

Vehicle alerted driver that ECS and. Rake assist was needed and disabled abs and forward collision while lighting up multiple warning lights on dashboard. Lights eventually turned off leaving a check engine light on. Multiple codes pulled from system using obd2 reader. Communication bus B offline and U0074, U0151, U0447,U0452 all at same time.
