2015 GMC YUKON- Titusville, FL
2015 6.2l yukon lifter failure oil changed 2000 miles ago and lifter failed and possible cam damage due to AFM lifter failure vehicle has 115,000 Miles and Gm knows about these lifter failures that can blow engines and cause serious accidents due to rapid loss of power and controls that GM already knew paid alot of money as a certified pre- owned and failed to disclose lifter defects to their customers now at shop for complete inspection and now needs possible new engine when all service requirements were met now looking at thousands of dollars for repairs if known i would have not bought the vehicle. And deceiving GM customers , currently waiting for diagnostic in writing but the courts approved recall already from same issues on 2019 and newer but same lifters are in the same 2015 AFM system

On or around January 27 2025 my 2022 sierra loss power and shut down at night and dropped to 0 rpm. I was close to the house and got pulled home by relative. When I did get it cranked lifters were tapping which was common in the 6.2 but I drained my oil and filter and saw the glitter look. Truck was still tapping after warmed up. Last night I about got hit at an intersection when same thing happened. I felt a jar, and truck went to zero rpm and loss power. Truck said, put in neutral and try again. When I pushed starter had a click. Then I pushed start again and it started smoking. It burnt my starter up, because engine is seized. I saw where there is an investigation on this and I really hope it goes through because that was a scary moment and it is safety concern. Twice the same thing. But now can’t turn crankshaft, nothing to drive, making payments on a 80,000 truck that is my personal and work vehicle. 92000 miles on my truck and have my oil changed regularly. I’m stuck between rock and hard place, but will be getting it towed to a dealer somewhere. To here I need a 6.2l engine in my sierra slt. 2 year old truck it is stressful. I know im going to here 10,000 $$$ I don’t have.

On about 01/20/2025 my transmission? Auto started to shudder before going into 3rd gear threw 5th. Once in 6th gear at about 55 the auto starts to shudder and turns into a rumble feeling. My auto only has 100650 for miles on it. It has been serviced and have brought it to GM 01/24/25 to ask about it? After talking to service adviser. It would cost me 75.00 for someone to go with me to confirm it is doing it. Then make an appointment for further evaluation. No price given at this time. but did not on paper! Say That it is most likely torque converter causing the problem? Confirmed It is not under warranty and there was nothing GM could do.i have been to at least 3 other shops in my area and they all say the same thing and price. Which is between 6 to 7 thousand dollars to replace the transmission. They all dosay that when it goes it could make me loose control Due to lockup.

2024 GMC ACADIA- Niceville, FL
While using the super cruise system I am experiencing unexpected braking of the car as it thinks it is about to rear end the vehicle in the right lane it is passing in the left lane. This happened multiple times on a recent highway drive. I am worried I am going to be rear ended by cars following me or the victim of road rage as it appears to other drivers I am brake checking them while in the passing lane. Additionally the adaptive cruise control and super cruise seem to fail to detect the vehicle immediately in front of me and fails to slow down with adaptive cruise control or attempt to change lanes when using super cruise. In both instances I have to manually brake and or change lanes to avoid a rear end collision. While manually driving the vehicle I am also receiving collision alerts when overtaking cars in the right lane while I am passing them in the left. The super cruise was able to identify cars entering the highway from on ramps multiple times and would auto lane change correctly. This leads me to believe the sensors are working but software may not be utilizing correct distance analysis when slamming on brakes as it passes a vehicle. I am scheduling a dealer service call, but feel like they will tell me there are no computer errors. There are no recalls on file. The on-star monitoring is reporting no errors. Seems like a design flaw, logic error that will require a software update.

2016 GMC TERRAIN- Branson, MO
consumption of oil! I got my oil changed January 1, 2025. It is now February 1. I have driven less than 500 miles. I had no oil. I have no Leaks or anything wrong. The car just consumes . I have had to have 6 oil changes in the past 3 months. Shop after shop. Has said it just consumes oil and this vehicle is trash. I noticed there was also a lawsuit against it. If you do not put a recall out on my vehicle ASAP, I am going to file a personal lawsuit and sue the hell out of you! For your scam! Somebody better give me a call immediately. Or set me up at my local GMC dealer to fix this issue. I better be expecting a notice in my mailbox or an appointment for a free fix and this better be a recall immediately! Or you’re asking for another lawsuit! I was told my car could blow up. With my kids and it could kill us! You better fix this immediately!!!!!!!

Only owned my 2024 gmc sierra 1500 for 5 months close to 10,000 miles on odometer. Transmission valvebody failure. Gm and dealership says no ETA for a replacement part. Im hearing from other customers with same issue part will take 5-6 months for dealership to receive part. I have a brand new truck that im making truck payments on just siting at the dealership waiting for a transmission valvebody. This is unacceptable! There are many many GM customers dealing with this same issue.
