2016 GMC CANYON- Royal Palm Beach, FL
I bought my 2016 GMC Canyon back in 2018 with 40k miles on it. After couple of months, I noticed that when traveling at approx 70MPH front wheels are shaking violently. I did wheel alignment and other wheel check but still there. Lately, power steering stabilitrak keep showing up on my panel. Since it can’t be resetted, Im literally driving like arm wrestling in the middle of the road specially during parking. After many years of wondering of what the wheel vibration is causing, electronic Rack and Pinion issue was the result of diagnostic conducted by Schumacher Chevrolet here in West Palm Beach, FL. They quoted me 3K for the repair.

Headlights flicker at night. GM is saying there is no fix and no ETA. It happens periodically when headlights are on. Not a one time issue

2016 GMC SIERRA 1500- Delta, OH
Stopping at a stop sign with several cars in front of me my vehicle wouldn’t stop, luckily the car in front of me moved. I immediately called the dealership to have my vehicle repaired. They confirmed my brakes had a problem including the vacuum pump having an internal failure. They replaced vacuum pump and required belts then charged me $800.00 for this service.

2024 GMC CANYON- San Antonio, TX
I noticed within a day or so of receiving my new 2024 GMC Cayon that the headlights would randomly flicker. No specific pattern or time interval just random. When I was finally able to get the truck in to the dealership for service, they reviewed the issue and called me the following day to inform me that couldn't repair it. Seems that GMC is aware and they currently have no fix since all headlights they have in stock potentially have the same issue. It seems obvious to me that driving at night with headlights that will not stay on is a huge safety issue and needless to say I do not want to cause an accident or get cited for an issue the manufacturer has no repair for. Leaving my only vehicle parked at home till a fix is found is not an option either.

2016 GMC YUKON- Evansville, IN
The transmission malfunctions, shifting is inconsistent and shifts by itself. Shudders and causes the engine to increase and decrease in RPMS. This causes the engine to lose power. The truck will slow because of bad shifting and stall. The dealer did a diagnostic test and verified the transmission problem. The vehicle was inspected by the vehicle brand dealership. There were no warning lights or any other signs of the transmission failure.

2015 GMC YUKON DENALI- Richmond, VA
The contact owns a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. The contact stated while driving at approximately 20 MPH, the vehicle started decelerating with a slight clunking sound coming from underneath the front passenger’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle then lost motive power. The contact coasted to the side of the road and turned off the vehicle. After waiting for a while, the vehicle was started and the contact became aware that the instrument panel and all other electrical systems were activated as expected; however, the engine failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was a failure with the engine. The vehicle had not been repaired. The vehicle was then towed to an independent mechanic where it was confirmed that the engine had failed, and the starter needed to be replaced. The starter had been replaced; however, while starting the vehicle the engine emitted a loud rumbling noise which the dealer described as rocks being tossed around. The contact stated that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 150,150.

2024 GMC CANYON- Finleyville, PA
Constant headlight flickering. Lights sometimes shut off totally. Almost caused (2) accidents due to this safety issue! Why will the NTSB not make GM file a recall for this issue? Does someone need to be killed first? Do your job and make GM do theirs!
