The headlights flicker on and off. Possibly to stay off. Other pedestrians think I’m singling them to cross in front of me when I’m not. Other drivers get angry because they think I’m flashing my high beams. This is a huge safety issue

The engine locked up on the truck due to bad lifters. It has the 6.2L engine and after talking to several mechanic shops and research online this is a very common issue. GM is having to put lots of new engine in under warranty due to this issue. They need to have a recall to fix a known issue that is costing people thousands of dollars to replace the whole engine in the truck. We was driving down the hey today and with no working at all the truck died and and would not crank back over. We had the truck towed to a repair shop to find out that our truck had the same issue that lots of people are having and now it’s gonna cost us several thousand dollars to have fixed when realistically GM should be paying to fix this problem.

I was driving down the highway at 65 when the upper front hood molding flew off and bounced off my windshield. There were motorcycles behind me but none were hit. After researching on [XXX] , many others have had the same thing happen. This could have broken my windshield, or worse, hit a motorcyclist behind me causing a wreck. It has not been inspected but reported by many others on GMC forums. There was no warning whatsoever. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Both headlights intermittently flicker on and off during operation. This is distracting for the driver while driving at night, and also distracts other drivers both ahead and oncoming. Dealer has reviewed the issue and is awaiting direction from the manufacturer for best way to resolve. No warning lamps or fault codes occured. The issue began within 30 minutes of purchase leaving dealership.

Engine goes to limp mode multiple times 3 of which happened getting onto the highway and almost creating an accident due to the reduced acceleration mode. CODe u0656 00 popped up each time. Dealer has yet to rectify due to lack of appointments… making me keep the vehicle saying it’s drivable but each time randomly goes into the reduced acceleration mode every restart. When driving at night or anytime for that matter, and the low beams are engaged, the whole light housing will momentarily shut off and turn back on. This can cause safety issues, especially since it looks like you are flashing people. It happens randomly and affects both the driver side headlight and passenger side headlight. It will only stop if you turn the entire headlight housing off, or only have the daytime running lights on. I am unable to attach videos. This issue seems to affect 2024 GMC Canyons manufactured after April 2024.

Rear-View Camera Failure: The rear view camera functions intermittently. While in Reverse, the screen goes black, with a red triangle and a circle with a line through it. This SAFETY ISSUE increases risk of incidents resulting in injury and/or property damage while the vehicle is in reverse. I understand there already exists a NHTSA RECALL (NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V709000) however, it states that only vehicles equipped with the optional Surround Vision feature are affected. My vehicle does not have the 360 Surround Vision (RPO UV2). but is experiencing the same SAFETY ISSUE!

My 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X picked up on Saturday 8/10/24. First time driving it at night I kept noticing a flickering of the headlights. I confirmed after reading multiple complaints online about the headlight blinking on many GMC forums. I have a video of it and have shown it to the dealership service department. They are ordering a lighting control module for the headlamp assembly. Very concerning that a headlight malfunction with less that 20 miles on the vehicle. And very noticeable at night almost looking like you are flashing your headlight at drivers in front of you.
